Come enjoy this unique Lakeview home! Nestled in a private community enjoy the mountain views with kayaks included. Immaculate and Impeccably designed to the highest standards, central air, private driveway, fully equipped kitchen, 2 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms it will feel like your own home sweet home! The master suit features sweeping lake views from the comfort of a tempurpedic king bed. Across from the master suite is the second bedroom with a full and twin bunk bed set. There is also a desk setup as a mini office to work from while looking directly out at the water. On the main level of the home is the 3rd bedroom with a queen bed. There is another office desk set up in the room as well, featuring more lake views while you work. Enjoy the walk out deck that overlooks the lake with a grill and plenty of seating to enjoy the outdoors and soak up the sun at night enjoy an amazing ambiance as the outdoor string lights kick on. Childproof fence at top of decks stairs. There is a large yard with a fire-pit with adirondack chairs to cozy up to, cook up some s'mores for dessert after an appetizing dinner. Out back is a second deck to backyard & kayaks. Sit by the water and enjoy peace & serenity. Great location! This property can comfortably accommodate 8 guests. There is also a queen blow up matters in the upstairs second bedroom closet for 2 additional guests.

Conveniently located via Route 39 just an hour and twenty minutes from NYC. Driveway can fit multiple vehicle's. Plenty of room if you are towing a boat, Jet-skis, quads, RV's or anything at all. One of the kayaks is a two person great if you have children with you so everyone can enjoy the water. You can also take them 1 mile down the road to Candlewood Lake where there is also a boat launch.

In the outdoor storage bin there are 2 beach chairs, a golf chipping mat and net targets, as well as water floats and tubes for the lake. There are more regular folding chairs on the deck. Board games are included as well in the cabinet next to the back door cabinet as you walk in the home.

The living rooms 65 inch television complete with all channels HBO, Showtime, all sports packages and every news outlets you could imagine. The sound bar and subwoofer are great for movie nights. The downstairs office bedroom has a computer monitor included, there is no laptop or desktop included. Alexa included in the main living space.

Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher! Wine openers, coffee maker, blender, crockpot, Belgian waffle maker, juicer with ball mason jars, margarita frozen drink machine maker, toaster, spices, pots, pans, wine, champagne glasses and more.

The center of town in New Fairfield is just down the road. Stop & Shop grocery store, delis, liquor store, bars and restaurants.

This property has a 2nd cottage completely separate from this main house but out back on the same land. Which is also a rental on VRBO, other guests could be seen. The other cottage has its own driveway on another road on Rt39 so you do not share a driveway or anything at all.

My girlfriends and mine were looking for a nice weekend getaway to unwind. The property was very clean. The basement level seemed a little more disheveled than pictured and very cold. Unfortunately we didn’t spend any time down there. The rest of the property was wonderful and spotless! Beds were comfortable.

Needed a safe, beautiful space to have a girls weekend. Everything you need is there. The movie room was a bonus!!! The view is gorgeous. Hopefully we can get it for a weekend in the summer.

This is a clean property in a good location if you’re going to the lake in summer. Since it was winter during our visit the downstairs basement area was too cold to be comfortable. The hosts did try to help with an extra space heater but it could not keep up. So we did not use the sofa, cinema etc. That room also has a pool table but it would be impossible to play because it’s located between two walls and lots of gym equipment. Kitchen teflon pans need a refresh. The upstairs rooms/ bedrooms are all very attractive. The bed mattresses are for folks who enjoy EXTRA firm. No dresser or closet space for guests in the downstairs bedroom which was odd.I’d say this place would be great for a family of four, not so great for 8 adults. All in all we still had a great stay with our family. Communication with host was fine.

I grew up in New Fairfield so it was nice to have a home similar to the one I lived in many years ago. We had more than enough room for all of us. Lots of streaming options. Beautiful view. Large kitchen with everything we needed. Host was super responsive and helpful.

Our group of 2 couples enjoyed our week in the Hudson Valley area. We all commented on the excellent beds and pillows, the view of the lake from the house and the quiet of the neighborhood. Would stay here again.

Our stay was lovely and the property was everything we needed for a perfect Gilmore themed weekend getaway! We loved the house and all the accommodations- the fire pit was the perfect cherry on top for our final evening in Connecticut. We saw shooting stars! We really enjoyed the kayaks on the lake. While it was laborious to get them down the hill and back up again, it was well worth the effort with the perfect weather we experienced this weekend!

The property had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and the property manager and cleaning crew were wonderful. Our family enjoys being outdoors and the surrounding area offered wonderful hiking options that we explored. The location was convenient to downtown if any supplies were needed. We were fortunate to have lovely weather so we took advantage of relaxing on the deck with a scenic view of Squantz pond. Overall a great experience, the only slight negative, as others have noted, is that the bed on the main floor is not comfortable due to being saggy. It would not deter us from returning, we had a great time.

Location is great and if the house matched the pictures/was clean then it would have been perfect! The outside of the property was COVERED in spider webs and the deck (which looked pristine in the photos) was very dilapidated with the stain chipping everywhere and cushions dirty. We found 2 joints on the table. Inside we could tell was just cleaned, but unfortunately most of the kitchenware was dirty in the cabinets. Thankfully the location with pond views was so great that we still overall enjoyed our stay.

The good: We had a great time staying here. The first and second floor are beautiful and very well maintained. Both bathrooms and three bedrooms are very clean and have more than enough bath and beach towels. The fire pit and kayaks are also a great touch. The water is just steps away and the view is excellent. Just be sure to bring your own propane and firewood. What could be better? Communication with the host left a lot to be desired. I’m still not sure who runs the property. There are two names here on VRBO and then another contact when you get to the house. The host never responded to me on this site after I booked. To get a hold of them I had to find the property on another site and message them there. More frustrating I couldn’t get a hold of anyone when I had a problem checking out. One phone number had a full mailbox and I didn’t get a text back. On the other number someone hung up on me after I said three words and then ignored my texts and further calls. The kitchen also needs a deep cleaning. The cabinets were especially pretty grimy What tou need to know? This house can accommodate 3 adults and 1 child max. There is only a broken Murphy bed in the basement that is taped close and says not to open. Two members of our party had to sleep on the couch. The projector is broken. As another reviewer mentioned there is no audio because the speaker wires are cut and the only way to play video is through a chromecast. This after the host assured me it was tixed.

We had a great stay at the lake house. Beautiful views from the deck and living areas. It was very nice having kayaks, life jackets, chairs and anything else needed to enjoy the lake on site. Our lake access across the street was very small and it was a workout getting the kayaks up the hills and back to the home. There was another beach access a short walk up the road but we mainly stayed at the one closest to the home. Squantz pond was beautiful and relaxing. It was perfect for taking the kids and beginners out to teach them how to kayak. Even on a holiday weekend it didn’t seem overcrowded with boat traffic at all. The house was very clean and had everything needed to cook our meals there. This place is perfect for a nice, relaxing family getaway.
