"This location is perfect for anyone taking the ferry to or from Newfoundland. Nothing fancy or spectacular. Overall just average. Takes hot water awhile to arrive."

"Everything was OK, it was just a little more basic than what we were expecting. The room was big and had a front deck. Limited Choices of television channels to watch, and the Wi-Fi signal weak. The breakfast that was included was hard for a gluten-free person. the bacon and eggs came I think frozen and then microwaved and the cereal was limited with no other options for gluten-free eating, which was a bit of a disappointment"

"Pool and laundry facilities as advertised on their site were not available. Pool down for renovation. Washer/dryer non-existant. Rooms dated needed refurbishing. Tub rusted, mold on floor, handle on toilet needed jiggling to stop constant running, walls needed washing or painting. Furniture old and we'll used, should be replaced. Breakfast unexceptional though sausages and orange juice were good. Not worth the price paid for 2 day stay."

"The Inn is a lovely property in a central location. Initially, we were given a room on the ground floor which had a strong smell, the owners upgraded us to a room one floor up. The owners are lovely, live offsite and respond quickly when called. The shower is lovely, great water pressure; ample towels. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The rooms are cozy, 80’s decor. Pride of ownership is evident."

"Had to pay almost $50 more to check in early and they only had a few rooms booked. Missed breakfast as I didn't realize it closed at 9:30 .The bed slipped away as you sat on it. the floor under the bed was plywood.unfinished."

"The hotel was very nice, and the room was big and comfortable. Check in and check out were fast, and there was a big parking lot in front of the hotel. There is a small pool and gym, and fresh coffee at any time. The breakfast was very good with good selections and employees keeping everything stocked. The only bad thing was the noise level due to many kids staying at the hotel in one of the nights. It's not the hotel's fault for disrespectful guests, but maybe they could've put the kids in one...

"We spent 2 nights at the Telegraph Inn. Our room was on the 3rd floor which luckily I had my husband to carry the bags up the narrow staircase. We had luggage for a 2 week vacation so we had lots of luggage. Wouldn’t be so bad if you just had an overnight bag. Our room was nice, newly renovated. There is no air conditioning.
