Windmill at Waterwheel is a privately owned condo at Waterwheel Condominiums on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels. Enjoy the 5-acre riverfront expanse of lush grass under Pecan and Cypress trees. Relax in one of the four hot tubs, splash in the two pools, and play and fish in the Guadalupe River.

You'll feel secluded from the crowds nestled in a quiet neighborhood, yet enjoy quick and easy access to all the hot spots. Schlitterbahn is 6 blocks down the street, Hinman Island Park and the City Tube Chute are less than a mile away, and you can drive to downtown New Braunfels, Landa Park, or Historic Gruene Historic in 5 minutes.

All the comforts of home are provided including a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances that is stocked with plenty of cookware and dishware. Washer and dryer, WiFi, and Smart TV’s are all included. The master bedroom includes a private bath with shower-tub, and the central hallway bath has a walk-in shower. The condo comfortably sleeps 6 guests in a queen bed in the master, queen bed in the guest room, and full size sleeper sofa bed in the living room. All bed and bath linens are provided.

The condo is well stocked so you can pack light. Soaps, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap are all included as well as coffee, sugar, and creamer.

The door is equipped with a digital lock, and you receive a unique code for your stay. No need to check in anywhere, and no keys to keep up with. Arrive, let yourself in, and make yourself at home!

We liked how close the condo was to many things around the city. The pool, river and the whole community was peaceful and quiet and we really enjoyed that. The only thing I would say is that the mattress on sofa bed is really uncomfortable. I like the fact that the host provided many essentials and it was clean overall.

Definitely An Experience to remember

First off I just want to thank the host Suzanne she was amazing responded very quickly and sent us all the information in a timely manner. This place is amazing close by restaurants, a Walmart and CVS for quick little essentials we forgot back at home. Very clean and safe, people are very respectful and honest. This place comes with an elevator which was very convenient we were able to wagon our things up to our floor, and a ramp to take our wagon to the river. The river is a walking distance with a beautiful view. The back patio which we used to eat our watermelon has a great view of the pool! I definitely will stay here again definitely a place of memories! My birthday weekend was a success!

Super nice and spacious

Very nice space. I really enjoyed the pools and the river. The river is less intense just up the street in the city park. Spacious balcony and living room. Worked out well for 5 of us to stay.

Great condo with easy and enjoyable access to river floating!

Our recent stay was wonderful! The entire process was easy and the condo was just like previous reviews stated. Great complex. We stayed during the week and it was quiet. My kids had the pool almost to themselves the entire stay. The complex is near the Guadalupe River and all we had to do was take a short walk up the road, could float about an hour, and landed right at the condo. Host has tips and maps of the area so we could maximize our time there. Our family loved it! This unit is so comfortable. The two bedroom/baths are super clean and the living area is great although we spent a great deal of time on the patio overlooking the pool. Stocked kitchen made it easy to cook our own meals. We'll definitely stay here if we visit NB again.

Great getaway spot

We went to enjoy the river and this spot is perfect for that! The river is basically in your backyard! The unit was super cute and very clean! Washer and dryer is in the unit and there were laundry pods 🙂 Super convenient when you don’t want your clothes to stay wet and dirty from the river Well stocked w tp and towels and the pool is right outside your balcony. We will definitely stay again!
