"We had no problems getting our boats through. Kids fished in kayaks and we could see them and not worry. Its quiet and peaceful. If you are planning on having more than 4 or 5 plan during a season people can sleep on the large enclosed porch. Two of our bunch slept out there and we had no problems. Screen doors lock. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

"Very nice. Loved the carport (it kept us dry when loading up), the covered back patio with fishing pole stands, and the overall interior decor. The bed was very comfy. Being that this was Memorial day weekend, the boat traffic was heavy and loud, but inside it was noticibly quieter. The only drawbacks were having only one light in the bedroom and no nightstands. Having a side lamp next to the couch would be nice for reading. "

"Mary & Bill were lovely to work with and very friendly - they gave us great recommendations for canoeing and their location is excellent if you want to access the State Park or the Wildlife Refuge. "

"The cottage and surrounding property were gorgeous. Our family really enjoyed our visit next door to the Bear Creek Smokehouse and Country Store. "

"Cabin is very quaint and well maintained with a beautiful view. Everything is clean and as presented in pictures. Frank and Linda are wonderful hosts. She even left us fresh baked cookies, muffins and gift a bag of goodies. "

"Great spot to pull boats up to the property, privacy, and plenty of room! I’m sure I’ll be staying here again in the near future!"

"Lovely location. Cute cabin. Cabin not as clean as i would have liked. Need to bring your own sugar and creamer and coffee and shower/bath supplies. However. I would stay there again. "

"We came to Longview for weekend to see the balloon race. Our stay was so peaceful in the woods at the Hayloft. Close to town and easy to access from highway. Very comfortable and quiet. Loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the property. There is a climb with the stairs that can be a little difficult for some. Bring own amenities like bath soap and shampoo, everything else is there. "

"This home is a wonderful and beautiful place to hang out and relax. Had everything we needed and then some. Would love to come back again next Spring. Jefferson was a fun shopping experience w/really nice people. What a time we had!! Thank you!! "

"We were so excited about this trip and booked it 5 months out. The property did not disappoint. It is in a great location - close enough to Caddo Lake, Jefferson and Marshall. The upstairs screened in patio was fun to enjoy the river view and the bottom deck on the water was relaxing.The home was well decorated and very clean. We are looking forward to coming back here again."
