Welcome to Haute-Chalosse, nestled along the Adour River and located halfway between Dax and Mont-de-Marsan. Situated on a plateau amidst rolling hills, the area boasts stunning views, including the Pyrenees mountain range to the south, the Adour Valley to the northwest, and the vast Landes Forest to the north and east. Enjoy a bike ride along the Adour Greenway or a scenic drive from fortified town to small village. Visit Nerbis, with its lake and rest area – an idyllic spot for nature lovers, those seeking relaxation, and fishing enthusiasts. Throughout the year, whether for a weekend getaway or a longer stay with family or friends, stop by the Gîte Sabotier, located in the heart of the village. Enjoy the use of the above-ground swimming pool, which is shared with the owners. Arranged on the ground and first floors, the cottage offers: a living room with a fully equipped kitchen (oven, 4-burner gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer) and dining area; a lounge area with a TV corner and Wi-Fi access; a bedroom with two single beds; a shower room with a shower tray; and a separate WC. The easy-to-use pine staircase leads to a spacious bedroom with a double bed, a relaxation area, and a TV for games only; and a pleasant bathroom with a sloping ceiling, shower, and wall-hung toilet. You can enjoy the pleasant terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue, and a private enclosed courtyard of approximately 400 m². Parking is available in the courtyard. An Intex above-ground swimming pool with surrounding landscaping, a relaxation area, a safety barrier, and a gate are shared with the owners and are available from June to September, weather permitting. (5.70m x 2.50m, depth 1.15m) For your comfort, bed linens, towels, and household linens are included. During your stay, a delightful discovery awaits you: the owner's wooden clog workshop, where you'll find handcrafted clogs for everyday wear and decorative clogs. You'll discover some of these pieces in the "Le Sabotier" cottage! This is a peaceful region, perfect for relaxation, that cherishes its traditions. 8 kWh of electricity per day, 500 liters of water per day, and 1/2 a bottle of gas per week for cooking (if the accommodation is equipped with a gas stove). Any excess consumption will be collected by the owner at the end of your stay.
