Owners provided clear instructions for check in and out as well as a book with great places to visit and eat with directions. A beautiful home with lots of nature surrounding their home. We enjoyed our stay.

Great, quiet retreat with beautiful walking trails with comfortable and clean accommodations.

The house and yards are well kept and everything is very comfortable and clean. The local grocery store along with a few restaurants are only a few miles away. The location has several walking trails and beautiful views.

Stayed with my husband, best friend and her husband and mother. Celebrating two birthdays! The house and views were beautiful! Very clean and comfortable. We also walked the neighborhood, which was just as pleasant. Would definitely book this home again!

Perfect place for weekend get-together

Stunning, well-kept house and property with beautiful views of the mountains and lake. Bedrooms were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, and porches and den were great places for relaxing and catching up with each other on our ladies weekend. House was very clean and tidy. Hosts left a most welcoming note for us as well as contact information if we had any questions. Absolutely will stay again.

We rented this property for my son's college graduation weekend to accommodate family coming for the event. The hosts were very responsive and went above and beyond to welcome us! They even left a lovely card and some champagne as a graduation gift for my son. This home is an amazing getaway and is a very unique and special place. The pictures do not do it justice! The property is well maintained with wildlife to watch and a view to die for. The inside was very clean and well stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. We will definitely be back!

Three couples got together to enjoy the local wineries and breweries for the weekend. We had a wonderful time with wonderful weather and truly enjoyed the home. Great house for the warm weathered months. The owners left some local coffee and local brews for us to enjoy.

A memorable family vacation

Thank you to John and Susanna for opening your home to us. We found this rental last minute for a spur-of-the-moment weekend getaway and had such an awesome time. The entire booking process was quick and easy. The house was perfect size for our family of 5 and the views were amazing!!! The owners were available if needed and were so kind showing such hospitality throughout our stay. The lake was more of a larger pond so we didn’t get to fish as much but if in the area, I would highly suggest the Luray caverns and the wildlife safari in nearby towns..it was the highlight of our days and then came back to the house to relax and soak in the beautiful scenery. Thank you again for the life long memories:)
