"Great location for ice fishing and snowmobile riding. Up North Lodge restaurant/bar is only minutes away with a great menu selection.We rented two cabins which were perfect for our party of 8. Kitchens are a bit small, but have everything you need for cooking meals. Host was great to work with."

"The cabin itself was the perfect getaway. We loved sitting in the hot tub with the sound of the river behind us and the snow falling all around us. Such a beautiful experience! We are so grateful to the host who checked in on us during a blizzard and worked hard to have us plowed out. Anna was kind, thoughtful, and communicative. We are so glad this is the place we chose for our trip and hope to come back again next year!"

"My friends and I came away very pleased with our no-frills wilderness camping on Rod's property. He has the best view of the Huron Mtns I've seen, with a better perspective on the south faces than Pt Abbaye. They really lit up in the sun with peak color all over. We also loved his sweet dog Max, who quickly pivoted from intimidating bark at strangers to "dare you to try to take my stick" playfulness in seconds.I would go back in a heartbeat, but I did take off 1 star for listing accuracy only...
