"I had a King room with a nice little porch looking out over the river. For my purposes, this location is perfect - quiet and relatively natural environment that is still roadside and able to get to a large number of hiking trails and towns all within 15 minutes. The front desk was warm and welcoming - the guy there is chill in a friendly way. "

"This looks like it was an old Comfort Inn that has been taken over by a private group. But the facilities were in excellent condition. And the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay here. I plan on using this hotel next year as well when we come up for WCU football games. Also, they are apparently still connected with the Choice Hotels group in some way and you can earn or use Choice Hotel points here. "

"From check-in to check-out the experience was great. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean, very basic, no big friles, but in reality who needs them. It was perfect. I would have preferred getting a paper receipt, instead of email."

"We stayed here for a few days and it was a great experience. The property was well kept inside and out. Our room was clean and stocked with the basics. The staff was always friendly. Breakfast was simple but perfect for an early morning. The waffle maker is awesome. We had the pool to ourselves and it backs onto beautiful tall trees that started to turn fall colours. The location is right next to the main road an a gas station for quick drinks and snacks if needed. "

"This cabin took me by surprise and swept me off my feet at the same time. The view and the water flow was amazing. The cabin itself was so comfortable and cozy you don’t even have to leave the property to enjoy yourself. 10 out of 10 and we will be visiting this cabin again. The "

"We had an awesome stay at this quaint little motel that sends you back in time. The bed slept great and the room was clean. We had a huge window that looked out over the river. There is a nice covered pavilion with gliders and picnic tables, fire ring and grills right by the river for your enjoyment. Our last night there we were in the pavilion enjoying the weather and the nature sounds, when an elk walked out of the river and right past us. It was awesome. Would highly recommend. Staff is...
