"Great house! 6 of us (4 adults and 2 teens) fit comfortably. The lake was beautiful and we were minutes from a nice grocery store and a great breakfast place. We would love to stay again! Just an FYI, and the listing states this but the stairs to the water is a *fantastic* workout, lol."

"Very satisfied with the accomodations. I am an accomplished bass fisherman. The fishing was disappointing (all catch & release). Of the twenty or so bass I caught, all but one was WELL under 1 lb. Bass pictures seem to be from a while ago. It is as if the DNR stocked the lake with bass fry last spring and now all are around 6" in length. This is not a reflection on your place, but a comment from someone who probably spent 30 hours fishing. We would definitely re-book if there was a decent...

"The area and lake was very peaceful, morning coffee on the deck listening to the birds. Afternoon kayaking and sunbathing on the deck and nights eating dinner on the deck with family or playing games. Kitchen and the living room open with a beautiful view of the lake. Matt has thought of everything you will need including the kayaks which was a great hit with the family. Looking for a quiet but yet close to stores this house is it. Hope to return in the years ahead "

"Having air conditioning and more so boat rental made all the difference in the world. We had a wonderful stay. Loved the cozy outdoor space for morning coffee as well. Very relaxing! Mike was very responsive to our texts and easy to work with"

"We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in the chalet. Everything was just as advertised and the home was very clean. There was a lot more space than we expected and it was well stocked with all the necessities, which is not very common with most rentals. The location was excellent. It feels like you’re in a remote area tucked away when you’re in the chalet, but it is a very short drive to anywhere you want to go. We had a toddler with us and all the toys were perfect for him. "We loved this property. This was the perfect couple's weekend getaway. We kayaked on the lake and enjoyed the beach by the doc. The bed was super soft and comfy. It was clean and well kept. I can't wait to stay here again. "

"This was a nice quiet comfortable cabin with lots of wildlife around. there was not many people on the lake. The bed was comfortable, and plenty of kitchen supplies. we enjoyed using the relaxing out door area. Keep in mind for long stays there is not a washer and dryer on site But there is laundry available pretty close by in plainwell."
