Beautiful cabin on 35 acres with views for days! This is a high end two story timber framed modern home with three bedrooms and space to roam. The main level has kitchen, dining space and living room, plus master bedroom with king bed and en-suite bathroom. There is also a half bath on that floor. The lower level has two bedrooms each with a queen bed. One has an en-suite bath and there is another full bath, as well as a family room with queen size pull out, with large TV with YouTube TV and DVD.

This home offers:

~15-20 minute hike to the Arkansas River
~This home does not have air conditioning
All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry soap.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.

**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

Beautiful place with plenty of room for several couples or a big family. We were spoiled by the views. There were plenty of kitchen amenities and a chefs paradise. We loved everything about the place. It was very comfortable, clean, and peaceful. Easy access to Salida, Buena Vista, Mount Princeton Hot Springs, groceries, coffee, restaurants and more.

We loved staying at this incredible home with the best mountain views! We had access to great hiking within 30 minutes on various trails throughout the area and enjoyed being able to sit out on the deck each night to watch either rain come in or beautiful sunsets. The home is very well cared for and was perfect for me and my husband. We have already booked a return trip.

Exceptional! Even Better Than We Could HaveHoped For!

It is difficult to overstate just how much we enjoyed our stay at Granite Peaks. With panoramic views of the breathtaking scenery, this remarkable property is the ideal place to spend a relaxing vacation. The views through the numerous windows & sliding doors were astonishing! Each morning, the sunrise reflected off the western range, revealing picturesque mountain vistas in an ever changing display of color. Waking up to these views was the perfect way to start the day. Even at night, the stargazing opportunities were phenomenal. The kitchen was fabulous & our dream kitchen! It had everything we could have needed, far beyond what we would expect to find in a rental. The cookware was abundant & in excellent condition. The kitchen knives were even sharp! This is a rare finding, in our experience. All of the furnishings throughout the home were exceedingly comfortable, high-end, & in as-new condition. The allocated supplies exceeded our needs. The Cove heating system was efficient & cozy, with individual temperature controls in each room. Opening a few of the several screened windows & doors made it easy to cool things down. As serene as this location is, it’s easy to forget it’s located approx. 2 miles from the highway, providing easy access to the neighboring towns, amenities, & scenic areas. The Pinon Rentals team was friendly & responsive in a timely, unobtrusive, & welcome manner. We would definitely recommend Granite Peaks, without hesitation, & hope to return soon.

Amazing home, secluded location

The house, location and views were top notch! The home was clean, modern and had everything we needed. We truly loved this home. We wouldn't stay in this home again though, not during July anyways. The Rocky Mountain cooling method did not work at all. In the afternoon/evening the house was 85-90 degrees. Making cooking or sleeping upstairs very uncomfortable. One window AC in the kitchen and a couple extra fans would be a great addition to this home.

Absolutely wonderful!!

The pictures DO NOT do this one justice. Gorgeous home, fully stocked kitchen, amazing beds and very secluded is just what we wanted for our relaxing Colorado vacation. I will say the upstairs got very warm while we were there, even doing the rocky mountain air conditioning method. It would get up to the mid 80's in the house, which was quite uncomfortable. The downstairs was much cooler though. If there was AC in this house, we may have never left!!! We whitewater rated with River Runners in Buena Vista (highly recommend) and rented a jeep in Salida. The central location of this house is very convenient. Overall a great experience and wonderful home!!

Fantastic Mountain view

Beautiful modern mountain house, fantastic mountain and wildlife view. There is no air conditioning, so it can get warm during day when sun shines through windows that don't have shades. We totally enjoyed our stay.
