Wonderful, charming cottage that has beautiful accommodations. My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful. The house is in the country, but you’re close to whatever you need. Our hosts were extremely helpful and communicated quickly. Do not hesitate to book this cottage. You will be glad you did. Five stars all the way around.

This is my new favorite spot near Nashville. Absolutely loved my stay here with my husband and two pups. When you travel with your fur babies, it can be difficult to find accommodations that work for them too. With this property, my pups were as happy as me and my husband. Plenty of room for them and plenty of outdoor space.This property is not only beautiful. It is tranquil and serene. Just what we were looking for.I travel a lot, and this was my best experience and most favorite property. We will be back.

We loved our stay here! Super dog friendly very private even though it’s a guest house. Gorgeous neighborhood, responsive host, and the inside is just as beautiful as the outside. Perfect location for exploring both franklin and nashville.

A place to relax

Amazing hospitality, being able to travel with my dog and have him feel just as welcomed by the owners was a blessing! Very quiet location yet close to DT Franklin.

Great cottage! Will be returning!

Cottage was immaculate and stocked with everything that we needed for our short stay. Very comfy and cozy, and was perfect for what we needed. The cottage is situated in a beautiful area. Host was super accommodating to anything we requested and was very responsive to questions. Location is convenient to Nashville and is minutes away from downtown Franklin with shopping and delicious food. We loved it, and will definitely book again when we return to the area!

Awesome Hosts

Our stay was wonderful. Everything as listed was spot on. We were in the area to watch our granddaughter play softball and needed to bring our dog along due to anxiety issues. The hosts were wonderful and our dog adored both Alexa and Shawn. They gave us suggestions for things in the area and made sure we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond our previous VRBO experience. Can’t thank them enough.

Comfortable, Sleek, and Convenient

Shawn's cottage was a perfect place for us to stay while visiting family in Franklin. The small enclave where the cottage is located includes very high-end homes on multiple acres. Although this cottage is in the backyard of the main home, it has a separate driveway, entrances, and outdoor spaces that make it feel more private. The bed is a firm yet comfortable foam mattress. The big TV on a rolling stand was a great addition for us to watch TV in the sitting area and in bed. The homeowners offered coffee and sodas and even brought over homemade treats for our dog. A pro tip for anyone traveling is not to light candles in a rental unit. We accidentally left one burning, and the homeowners graciously came over to blow it out for us while our dog was in the cottage alone. The cottage is only a couple of miles away from the new community of Westhaven with a grocery store and restaurants. Of course it is only a few more miles to the cute Franklin downtown. We really enjoyed our stay! I would recommend this place to anyone!
