"We had a very peaceful stay. Tammy is a wonderful host. She went out of her way to show us the trial and a nearby wonderful view point in the mountains. She was also very friendly and very helpful. This place has a fishing pond on site and we had fun try fishing in there. You wake up in the morning and you see Cows and Horses just outside the Cabin. One of my kid accidently had an injury and Tammy helped with an appointment to the hospital. A great stay and friendly people and we would be...

"We loved that this was an "off the grid" stay. It is on beautiful land and we loved seeing the farm animals and wildlife, plus the onsite dog is amazing!!! My favorite thing about this stay was being able to look at the night sky and see all the stars above with such ease. It was beautiful. Highly recommend if you enjoy being outdoors."

"This place is exactly as described. It was beautiful and peaceful. The owners were friendly and helpful. It was clean and well stocked. We went fishing and used the kayaks. We hope to go back one day!"

"We had a great stay here. My wife loved it so much that before we left we booked another stay with the kids! We loved that it was a short walk to the water for fishing! We also loved how quiet it is here. The property owner Will was very friendly, and easy to get ahold of. We’re excited to stay here again!!! "

"Exactly ad desired. No close neighbors. Nice countey walk to river. Wildlife in the front yard. Could hang meat with the a/c. Good base for visiting general area. Easy in and out. Relaxing!"

"great cabin get a way- ladder to loft little hard to climb for older couple- but perfect for kids :)great communication with owner- answered quickly, very helpful and very patient."

"There were 5 adults and a 7 month old baby. We stayed 3 nights and it was wonderful. The home was as described and even better. She had a nicely stocked pantry with spices and a few cans of basic food. Plenty of dishes and cookware. I did not see a list of things to do before leaving, like most VRBO homes have, however I stripped the beds and put sheets and all towels in the laundry area and took out the trash. It’s a wonderful home you will certainly enjoy your time here. ...

The covered porch was perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. "If you are looking for an awesome place to get away from it all, this is the place. Everything you need without all the people and noise. Everything was as it should be with no surprises. The fishing on the river was quite enjoyable as well. The host, Jed, responded to all my messages in a very timely manner and answered all my questions. Could not ask for a more pleasant get away so close to Dallas. Definitely going back! "
