"We loved the cabin, it was as charming as advertised and had everything we needed. The resident alligator greeted us shortly after we arrived. We spent a lot of time out on the bayou in our boat sightseeing and making memories. Enjoyed our 6 night stay. "

"Stayed here for a couple of nights while my visiting Morgan City for the weekend. The home was clean and well stocked with supplies. Beds and sofa were comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were great as well."

"Really enjoyed our stay. Very clean with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Location was perfect for our group. Close to Baton Rouge and only about 1 hr to New Orleans. "

"I liked the house, it is really cute. The host was great. It could use a couple things to make it better. 2 rooms had TV's. 2 didn't. There are no dressers or hangers. I feel like if there aren't dressers there should be hangers. The ceiling fans don't run unless the lights are on. It would be better if they could still run without all the ceiling lights. It can get kind of warm upstairs. And the backyard could use more seating. Maybe a few patio chairs. These aren't complaints at all. Just...

"If you are looking for a central place to stay so you can visit the surrounding areas, i.e. New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, then this is the spot. A updated cottage with 1 bedroom, kitchen, diningroom, a huge bathroom with washer & dryer. You have your own separate driveway from the host's main house. The shared covered patio beautifully lit at night was a excellent place for grilling. There is a private hot tub located in the back overlooking the bayou. Lots of great food around. ...

"Every year our families meet somewhere for a long weekend and this place was perfect for the adults and children. Plenty of room and the kids had a blast fishing and kayaking. Perfect spot for a family trip. "
