I don't usually give five stars, but this was a true lovely experience. We arrived at about 3 PM, the hotel had text me a few times to ask of my arrival. I requested a little bit early of a check-in, was a little in shock that the room wasn't ready when we got there. In the past, I've checked in places at noon and 1 PM, but I let that go. We had to scramble to be able to change to go enjoy the sunshine, but soon after our room was ready. We had a king bed with a pullout sofa. The room was beautiful, clean, new, the bathroom was large and updated. My only complaint about the hotel is when I checked in they didn't tell us about the breakfast in the morning nor that the hotel provided a shuttle to the beach, we found out about that on our own. It's in close proximity to fifth Avenue literally steps away so we were essentially located. I would definitely stay here again. I loved it. It's quaintness, and Jeff, who is part of the staff, he is wonderful. The little continental breakfast they offer in the morning has amazing large fresh muffins, donuts, egg sandwiches, pretty much a very nice selection. I forgot the gentleman's name that ran it, but he was so friendly and sweet. Everybody that works there is very sweet. A wonderful staff for sure! Our room was cleaned every morning early, I could not ask for more.
