"This place is a terrible. The windows which are supposed to block noise are so flimsy. Couldn’t sleep because of noise from highway. Breakfast at this place is a joke. At least they could warm up the scrambled eggs. No sausage, no patties, just eggs and some oatmeal. The elevator is so old, the starting noise is crazy and I almost thought it was gonna crash. We booked here looking at the high reviews but at this point I think those reviews are fake and paid ones. Never going to this place again....

"The staff were wonderful, except that hot food for the breakfast was not available until nearly 7 a.m. (posted breakfast times were 6-9 a.m.). Biggest problem was just the noise. Listened to insterstate traffic all night, and the conversation in the room next door as well as in the hall. Not yelling, not partying, but voices went right through the connecting door as though it was open. Good earplugs solved this."

"My husband and I were visiting Plainfield on a business trip and absolutely adored staying at the Plainfield Inn. The location was continently located and we were able to easily walk to all the lovely local restaurants and coffee shops in downtown Plainfield. For such a historic building it is very well maintained, and we enjoyed the updated modern amenities (mini fridge, microwave, and spacious shower). I would highly recommend the inn for your stay in Plainfield!"

"This was a overall one star experience. My room was fully paid for through Expedia and when I arrived to check in my room had been given away. The girl was nonchalant and said i did not pay for it even when i showed her my reciept from Expedia. I had to pay again for the stay. It was late and we travelled all day so we needed to stay so i paid again..They put me in a smaller room and it was disgusting. The smell of the carpets in the halls was strong and nausiating...I did not even want to walk...

Had all our information and checked us in thoroughly and quickly. When we were trying to transport our luggage etc, we were having difficulty and he came to our rescue helping get everything up to and into our room.
