You will not want to miss a single sun rise or sun set at this beautiful Lake Home. Beds are very comfortable with most having Tempur-Pedic Mattresses.

Lovely lake home

My husband and I and another married couple enjoyed our stay so much. The home was inviting, comfortable, and clean. The bssket on “goodies” to eat was so nice. Hope to stay at the home again in the spring.

Top Notch

First class accommodation. Beautiful lake view and close to Lee’s Ford Dock. Only minor drawback was single lane road to access property and very limited narrow parking.

Lovely comfortable home… perfect for relaxing family time

Loved staying in this great vacation home! It was immaculately clean and super comfortable. I loved how they’ve done the sleeping arrangements to maximize space in the basement and give everyone plenty of space to hang out and not be on top of one another. Lake was a great host, including little extras like Kcups for coffee, snacks, and travel size toiletries. The house was so well equipped… fully stocked kitchen, large ice maker, board games and outdoor activities… lots of little things that made our stay extra special and comfortable. Loved the beautiful setting… gorgeous lake views and lots of privacy.

July Birthday Weekend

We were extremely pleased with the well-appointed home with a GORGEOUS view of the lake! The location and accommodations exceeded our expectations with a beautiful welcome basket with goodies, plenty of cooking utensils & cookware, Kuerig coffee pods and a regular coffee maker with plenty of filters, and even some basic spices. We will absolutely book The Blue Heron again!

Wonderful view, beautiful house inside and out!

Myself and 5 others take a fishing trip every summer. This will go down as one of the top stays we have experienced! This place has everything for children and adults! Book this house if you are going to Lake Cumberland. You will not regret it!

The home has a beautiful view. Neighbors are near by however very quiet. Fire pit area was enjoyable. Location does not have lake access but was good proximity to necessary amenities.

Paradise on Fishing Creek

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The house is clean and very well equipped. The neighbor Sean in the White House up the road is extremely helpful letting you know where to go we're not to go. He even came down in the middle of a thunderstorm to tell us there was a tornado warning for the area. Perfect location... Close enough to Somerset to get what you need yet far enough away from everything to enjoy the peace and quiet. The road to the house is very narrow but you can easily get a 24 ft boat in the driveway plus four other cars. The house or on point anytime you ask a question. It would be awesome if there was a path or trail to the lake. I understand the Corp controls that and the terrain may make that impossible.We will definitely be back.

Memorial Day Weekend

The property’s setting is lovely, overlooking the lake. Boat traffic was not bothersome at all. Enjoyed the fire-pit. The home accommodated our family group well, with separate rooms for each unit. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware. We highly recommend the Blue Heron Cove and look forward to returning again, hopefully for a longer stay! (Only 5 minutes drive from Lee’s Ford Marina)

Girls Getaway

Such a pleasant surprise when a property more than exceeds your expectations and oh what a wonderful view of the Lake!! The owners have thought of everything as all five of us ladies agreed it was the hands down the #1 best stocked vacation rental ever. From a true cooks kitchen to the comfy beds, succulent linens, books, games, the Solo firepit AND firewood etc... we had everything we needed and more. The homeowner was attentive answering every question promptly even sending the neighbor Charlie to light the gas fireplace within minutes of inquiring how to do so. Us Five ladies were on a quest for a much needed R&R weekend, thanks to the owners for providing us with such a wonderful place to do so! We are already planning our return! Thank you !!

Beautiful views of Lake Cumberland...Very clean ....Fully stocked Kitchen, Games galore... plenty of room for for a large group/Family...beds are super comfortable....this owner has thought of everything you may need for a Family Friendly place to stay....it felt like our home away from home, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful home on the lake

Had to make a quick trip down to the area and owner made accommodation for my family. Home is beautiful and the location is perfect for a weekend lake getaway! Enjoyed the spectacular views from the back deck and cannot wait to come back for a longer vacation with friends and family! Thanks again!
