"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."

We were able to walk to the beach in 5 minutes, and walking into the middle of the Main Street area was about 10 minutes. We enjoyed eating at Classroom Bistro. "Wonderful spot, especially with kids, as the common space has a slide, pirate ship climber, farm animals to see (goats, chickens, ponies) and grass to run on. The glamping cabins were quite clean and "cozy", as you'd expect, but we fit 3 adults and 3 kids in there. We were able to buy some firewood for a cooking fire. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to get a bit of a camping experience. Owners were very friendly as well, and generally available as needed."

"Lovely clean family room, all brand new furnishings so really comfortable. Quiet calm place to stay, self check in so barely see anyone but that’s just fine. Lovely view of sea from room and if not then only ten paces and at sea wall so you can hear it and feel near it. Not much going on in town but just very calm and quaint and authentic so not over touristy, which is perfect. Ideal base for exploring region."

"DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. The phone number listed is out of service and there is NO WAY to contact anyone at this property, as it is managed by a third party. I booked 2 nights, tried to get ahold of someone to give us keys and instructions on how to check in and the phone number doesn't work. I contacted the property through Expedia and the management company got back to me 36 hours later. In the meantime, we had to drive 40 minutes out of Inverness to even find a hotel for the first night and...
