"This was our second visit to Maui, so we wanted to try something different; we chose something upcountry instead of on the beach this time. We will likely go back to the beach for future visits, because we really didn’t enjoy having to drive all the way back and change after spending time on the beach. That said, the property was not a bad choice. Our stay was pleasant, with the exception of a random leak that happened in the unit’s restroom. Also, the patio could have been a little cleaner. We...

"First of all. The host gave me not one. But two! Wrong pick up addresses. Causing me to waste 3 Ubers. And then they have the audacity to charge me for the picking me up at the wrong location. And the end of 5 days of rental I noticed bed bug bites on myself. It could be from the tent or even the vehicle seats. Made a complaint and the host/ Expedia refuse to take accountability. Don’t recommend. You’re better off renting a suv and buying a cheap tent.

"All the directions were very clear. Parking was secure and easy. The home is so quaint, comfortable and has everything needed for a short stay. We loved watching the rain come down while sitting on the bed that is on the patio. Despite the heavy downpours, the whole porch was dry and comfortable. This place was perfect for what we were looking for in Hana. "

"We stayed while the storm was passing through, I believe this was the only place on the road to Hana which had power and water as they are self suffiecient. The gardens were gorgeous and Michael and Terry were very good hosts. The location was exactly as described in the listing."

"It was as described. The location was good for a stay in Hana. You can see a slice of the ocean between the trees and homes across the street but there is no access to the ocean. It was about 30 minutes from a great hike at Pipiwai Trail south of Hana. They helped us out by letting us drop off our bags early."
