"Lovely house and property with a huge yard. Very clean!! It was easy to check in and out. There is no WiFi and the service is spotty but it wasn’t much of an issue for us. Our dogs loved the yard. We grilled and had a fire each night and swam in the lake every day (we walked down a bit to get to the more swim-able part of the beach). Only thing that would improve this place for us would be a fenced in area of the yard for our pips—then it would be perfect!"

Unlike many VRBO properties the house had all matching quality pots and pans dishes silverware and anything else you need in a kitchen not garage sale miss match whatever. Perfectly white blankets and bedsheets. The beachfront location was perfect with a grassy yard and sandy beach. The only complaint is no grill. Hope to stay there again "

"A Perfectly Relaxing Getaway Our stay at this VRBO was incredibly relaxing, a true escape! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, this is absolutely the place. We really enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere and had a wonderful, quiet stay.Even though the weather wasn't ideal for the lake, we still managed to get in the water, and our 6 and 8-year-olds had a blast. "We absolutely loved this quaint cottage. There were so many thoughtful details such as small flashlights on the bedside tables, q-tips in the bathroom, plenty of dishes and cookware, a picnic table to enjoy meals outside and a beautiful view. We felt so comfortable and the property was quiet which we loved. Communication was excellent with the hosts. I would recommend this stay to anyone. We are hoping to come back this fall! "

"Beautiful home with so much to do for all ages, including extra nice touches such as kcups, firewood, etc. This host has thought of everything and makes it easy to feel at home. We played volleyball and horseshoes, kayaked and made s’mores by the fire. There were plenty of indoor games as well. My family had the best time and I highly recommend DeYoung Family Zoo. Coffee on the deck in the morning facing the water was a nice treat as well!"

"We were just passing through and needed to sleep for the night. We arrived after midnight and left around 9:00am. But my whole family found the cabin so delightful, we wished we could have stayed much longer. It's far nicer than the description and photos suggest.If we ever pass this way again, we'll be sure to book this cabin and plan a longer visit. "
