"This place is a unique stay in paradise. The host was friendly and gave great recommendations and communication. The kitchenette was perfect to make dinner and the outdoor shower was a cool experience. Everything was clean and we enjoyed the room. We especially enjoyed waking up and star gazing in the morning and then watching the sun rise over the ocean. Unbeatable view of the sunrise!"

"Loved this location! We had a great stay. The cottage is not air conditioned, but it's very shaded and with the fans provided it didn't matter. The WiFi is very spotty, but it's a rural location, so that wasn't shocking. We were close enough to Volcanoes National Park that we got there before anyone else was even at the summit, which was incredible. There were a few restaurants within driving distance, but we appreciated the host's caution that most places close early and it's best to get...

"The house was very nice! Very peaceful place. The host was so helpful and accommodating. We ended up staying there during a hurricane. There was a back up power system so we never went without power. We had everything we needed. The property caretaker called to check on us and offered help if needed. Very nice people. I would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend it."

Really fabulous overnight stay. We didn't use anything in the kitchen. One king bed rm very comfortable. One queen bed rm also comfy. Large living, dining and kitchen rooms. Would be great for a family. Would recommend and would return."

"My family and I loved staying here! It was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Our hosts responded promptly to a water leak we discovered at check-in and the rest of the stay was easy sailing. I loved listening to the frogs at night and the chickens in the morning.
