Disappointed

Very disappointed with our stay. Internet never worked, tv was broke and dresser and kitchen drawer were broke . Drain in bathtub was clogged with hair. Ocean was great !

Absolutely HORRIBLE nightmare

We checked into the place at 1am after driving 6 hours and working all day. The front door had signs saying us was broke. We had to go to a side entrance. We were fine, set the dogs beds up and we all went to sleep. The next morning we got up and took the dogs out around 10am and started being harrassed by the on site security guards about people complaining that our dogs were barking and we were told the dogs had to leave. I tried contacting the owner of the room who did not respond. I contacted VRBO who told me that the only person that could evict us was the owner and we needed to tell security that. I tried but they kept harassing us and coming to our door saying they had to leave. My dogs did not bark even when the security pounded on our door like they were there to collect money. I knew the complaints were made up. VRBO told me that if security continued to harass us to call 911. So that was what I did next. An officer came he told us that the place was a no pets allowed facility even though my confirmation said pets allowed. Called VRBO because we needed them to find us another place and kept getting the run around and was hung up on at least twice. The cop was even hung up on once. Finally heard back from the owner who stated that apparently the place was now enforcing the no pets allowed rule so they updated their listing. They were contacting HOA and we’re going to get back with me. Never heard back. We were trying to handle this situation for over 4 hours when we had to get out. We ended up having to go to my mother’s house where we ended up “sleeping” on the wet pavement of her back porch with our dogs and then came home. My daughter’s birthday was absolutely ruined and there was nothing I could do to fix it. I still have not been refunded my money as I was told that the owner had to provide the refund so we have not heard from the owner….imagine that!

This is a motel room with 2 queen bed the motel doesn't supply replacement towels wash rags and so on. Will sleep 4 adults

We enjoyed our stay at the Driftwood.It’s an old building that needs updating.Great location.

Dealing with VRBO was a pleasure. Location was great, except for the renovation work across the way.
