Beautiful 14th floor unit w/ huge wrap around balcony providing panoramic ocean views. Floor to ceiling windows / 2500 square ft / granite countertops in kitchen and all bathrooms / large roman tub and flat screen tvs! Available by Luxury Beach Rentals, South Wind resort is located in the heart of the Grand Strand in a quiet family oriented section of the beach. This 4 bedroom penthouse suite on the 14th floor is oceanfront and offers spectacular views of the blue Atlantic. This condo offers an oceanfront master bedroom with king bed and access to the huge oceanfront wrap around balcony. The master bath offers granite counter tops, double vanities, a large Jacuzzi tub, a separate shower and a walk-in closet as well as tile flooring. The second room offers a two twin beds, the third room offers a queen bed and fourth bedroom offers two twin beds. Other features include smart TVs in all rooms, full sized washer and dryer, and fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, this condo creates a large and spacious stay for you and your guests. Activities on site include the indoor and outdoor pool complex which includes a lazy river, 2 pools, 4 hot tubs and children’s splash pool all overlooking the beach along with a fitness center and tanning lawn.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this property for a family Spring break vacation. The condo was roomy, clean and a newly renovated master bath, The beach is beautiful and great for walking. This was 1 of 2 condos rented. Main reason was location and heated indoor pool. The week before Easter with many schools closed, they scheduled pool maintenance and it was closed. Kids were let down. This sleeps 10, and they gave us 4 forks and 2 teaspoons. Other than those hiccups this is a great place.

This vacation rental was a great place. Great location with easy access. Beautiful, private balcony. Management was extremely easy to work with. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Myrtle Beach.

Family Time

We had a great time staying at this location. We did find some dirty items (socks and tissues) in the couch cushions. The description said there were 2 king beds but there was only 1 in the main bedroom. The main TV remote was missing when we arrived. We called maintenance and they came very quickly to resolve the issue.

Beautiful Sunrises!

The place was very spacious, the location was perfect, and the views from the balcony were amazing! Just wish the weather would have been better, but we were able to make the most of it. Highly recommend!

Nice getaway.

Everything was amazing. Check-in was so easy. The cleaniness, the location, and the room was wonderful. The ocean view is beautiful. We had plenty of space for a party of 6. The location is fairly close to all attractions. Our family visit Myrtle Beach quite often and this property easily became our favorite place to stay at MB. We will definitely stay here again.

Overall condo was awesome! Gorgeous view! Love the balcony! Small things that didn’t really affect our stay but should be addressed: Fix towel bar and TP holder in master bath. Refrigerator leaks from bottom kept rug wet all week. Beds in 2 queen room the mattresses should be replaced I was told they are very uncomfortable. Thank you!

Smokers on non-smoking property ruined our stay.

We arrived to water on the kitchen floor from a leaking fridge, and a freezer door that wouldn't shut with a light that stayed on (I wonder why the cleaning crew didn't see that?) Maintenance came and quickly fixed the issue. However, we would have given this 5-stars if not for the smokers that ruined our stay. Every time we opened the balcony door, smoke wafted into our unit, and it was overpowering whenever we tried to sit outside. We tried to deal with it for about 8 hrs. and asked the people to stop, but they didn't, so we called the number on our reservations. It went to voice mail; I left a message; called the next morning & left a message; called again and spoke with someone; called again that afternoon and spoke with someone else - never got any resolution or compensation. Only excuses that we didn't call "immediately". Didn't matter, since they never did anything anyway. People were still smoking the morning we left. People were also smoking by the pool, and there was a strong smell of smoke in the lobby. So much for the "smoke-free" property, and 24-hour surveillance. My suggestion - if you are non-smokers like we are, DO NOT stay here! You will most likely be miserable.

Enjoyed our time!

Just a couple comments on our stay. The main TV was much too complicated and we had to get the technician to come up to work it out. Apparently the apps have to be signed into an agreement before they would work. Only one hot tub was running the entire week we were there. Neither of the outside spas worked. This is a major enjoyment for our time there, so it was a definite let down that the outdoor hot tubs were down for an entire week we had looked forward to. The rest of our stay was great! We love south wind for a get away. Thank you!

Family vacation

Renting was easy. Had a problem with the some of the cleaning of toilets we went out and bought cleaning supplies to clean.Also found oreos on floor in bedroom which tells me that it was not vacuumed to good. I'm sure it was not homeowners fault. But unit was very nice and beautiful location.

It was perfect for our family, and the view from the balcony was amazing , none of us wanted to leave ! We had so much fun enjoying everything there was to do in Myrtle Beach plus the food And drinks on the pier was awesome !

Nice

Southwind 1401 was very nice. It was the end of March and the weather was too cold for me. I was not able to go to the beach but I enjoyed waking up to the beautiful view and sound of the ocean on the wrap around balcony. The indoor pool and hot tub was a bonus. Parking was easy and the property was in decent shape. Everything was just as it was described. We had plenty of room.

Perfect Stay with a Beautiful View

This was a perfect stay for a 70th bday girls trip! The condo was exactly as shown, very nice, clean, enough utensils and the wrap around porch was perfect to watch the sunrise each morning. We had two minor issues that were resolved immediately, mgmt answered emails and calls right away. We had no issues getting in, arrival was a very smooth process. All of the rooms were nice & the beds were comfy. There was plenty of room for our group of 7, no one complained about anything. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Myrtle Beach. Location was perfect and the view was amazing!!

This has the best views from the top floor balcony of the ocean. I ended up sleeping out on the balcony in very comfortable outdoor furniture. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this spectacular unit. Plenty of room for our whole crew. My favorite part was the wrap around balcony. Only complaint was the lobby was closed for our entire stay and there were no restrooms on the pool level. Small inconvenience for an otherwise fabulous week. Looking forward to visiting again.

Perfect Place!

This condo was perfect for our family. We hadn’t been to MB in years, and took a chance booking this place not knowing much about the building, condo, or the location. This was everything we could have wanted. The condo was spacious for all of us and accommodated us all perfectly. The kitchen was well equipped with all the things you need. The beach access was great, and the beach was never crowded. The pools on the property were great! I couldn’t get my 1 year old out of the lazy River! The condo is placed in a quiet area but it is located near just about everything you need and everything you would want to do. This is def a place we will be booking again! I highly recommend this condo for your family vacation. Being on the 14th floor allowed for some great views in the morning and at night right on the beach overlooking the ocean!
