Beautiful resort. Dirty unit

Kingston is a truly great resort. We had a great timeOverall. Our unit had very nice features like the most comfortable beds we’ve ever had and a very nice kitchen. Plenty of room. The overall cleanliness was not good. For the amount we paid to stay here, I would expect a spotless place. The floors were so dirty we had to wear shoes at all times. Under couches and beds looked like they had never been moved to clean the floors. We had cockroaches inside and they were reported. Nobody was able to come spray while we were there. The deck was so dirty it was unusable. I would have never stayed here for that price had I known it would be so dirty. I did report this all to management who said they would make sure that housekeeping took better care of it in future.

Vacation stay

We have had the pleasure of leaving great reviews in the past but that isn’t the case with this property. We found out right after we made our final payment the Waterpark wasn’t ready This information should have been disclosed ahead of time. We were given tickets to a nearby Waterpark to accommodate but would have preferred the convenience of what we paid for. The unit was tidy but not what we were expecting for the price. We’ve paid less and stayed in much nicer units. We weren’t able to use the patio- it was dirty. Last but not least we encountered an issue with bugs. We notified someone and they apologized and sent someone to spray but that put a huge damper on our stay. Our daughter was uncomfortable for quite some time after seeing a bug in the kitchen.

Good location in Kingston Resort

We have enjoyed Kingston Resort for almost a decade and will return again in the future. The unit we stayed in this time shows very well online. We did not find the value or quality for the money as compared to past stays. If linen quality and pillows are important to you, this is not a good fit. The sheets were extremely rough and pillows were small and firm. They were not of the same quality as the Hilton or Embassy Suite. We requested new sheets - which were brought, but they were still uncomfortable. Thankfully we had family locally who provided us a set. The entry stairs need to be rebuilt. The back porch was very nice but proximity to the drainage pond resulted in mosquitoes at night. Water levels are low so it could be this season. We also had a few palmetto bugs. To be fair, the unit is very nice inside, it has ample room and the HVAC works great. Three baths, updated appliances and a generally quiet location make this is a good choice. However, for what we paid and what we have experienced in the past, we don’t believe it was up to standard. I highly recommend Kingston Resort - it’s a great family vacation and has many amenities. The new water park will make it even better.

Wonderful place to get away with family.

We loved the layout of the condo and it’s location. We walked to the beach and the fitness center. Great restaurants were also close. My grandchildren loved feeding the turtles in the lake!

Awesome villa for a relaxing beach get away

Absolutely loved this Villa. It has everything you need and more! The location was perfect as it’s located in the middle of all Myrtle Beach has to offer. The property itself has plenty to keep you busy during your stay and is absolutely beautiful. The villa was so spacious, very clean, had plenty of towels and toiletries provided, and the staff was available to help whenever needed via text or call. Our contact Courtney was amazing and so very helpful. Definitely, will stay here again! Great value for all the space and amenities! Highly recommend for a relaxing Myrtle Beach getaway!

Short walk to the beach if you take the paths behind the condo. We also rented a golf cart at the resort. It was very spacious and clean. Great for a large family and very kid friendly. However if you have any issues, the host is very hard to get a hold of.

Tasteful villa and relaxing resort atmosphere

The villa is very spacious, well taken care of and of tasteful design. Very quiet area for perfect night sleep. The walk to the beach is twice shorter than mentioned in the description if you take small paths and bridge behind - all shadowed with greeting turtles in the lake. Tons of quality amenities around allow you to enjoy every day in a different way and in any weather. All our multi-age group liked it there and want to come back. The property manager Courtney is extremely helpful both while preparing for the trip and during the stay - hugest thanks for our great quality vacations!!

COCKROACHES IN CONDO

We had cockroaches at our condo and no one was able to help, we arrived on a Saturday and noticed the problem the first night, we tried to reach our contact at the Condo and she returned the phone call the next day but because it was during the weekend there was nothing they could do, she said we had to wait until Monday, long story short no one ever check the condo; we went to the customer service of embassy suites and Kingston Plantation and they said they could not help because we did not make our reservation directly with them. Another family that we met there and was staying in the same condos had the same problem. I paid for a nice and clean place to stay with my family and it was not what we got, we would never stay in these condos again.

Great Place

Everything was great! It was very clean. Great location! It took us 5 minutes to walk to the beach! We had access to the pools and to the little water park for the kids. Tanger Outlets are right down the road. We highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay for a family of 6

This was location was absolutely wonderful for myself and my family. It was clean, well kept, and had all of the basics that we needed. The amenities that come along with it (free access to all of the resort pools, the water park, and the beach via the shuttle) was just icing on the cake. Courtney kept us very well informed from the time we booked and throughout our stay. If we needed anything she was accessible though I’m sure she is very busy. Our only concern was the maintenance of the deck, which we asked someone to clean and someone came but still we weren’t comfortable utilizing and the lack of kitchenware (pots and pans with lids) for cooking. However despite those small areas we had a WONDERFUL time and we look forward to another visit. Thanks.

Fantastic stay!

I had a group of 6 stay at this condo resort for a family wedding. We enjoyed how close everything was in proximity to this location and the ease of access to amenities such as the pool. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and would consider returning back here again!

Overall everything was amazing! We did have a few bugs every now and then assuming because of the woods and lake and the extra covers had smell prob because they had been sitting and not used. But overall everything was amazing. We will definitely book again!!

Perfect family friendly vacation spot

This property was immaculate with all of the essentials. Very spacious for our family. We were pleasantly surprised by all of the “baby extras” such as a high chair and bed rails. This unit is located only short walk to the pools and beach. We enjoyed walking through the beautifully landscaped resort and viewing all of the wildlife around the pond. We can’t wait to visit again!

Very clean property. Updated. Comfortable beds. Lots of room for everyone. So many amenities we didn't even have the time to explore them all. The pool was fun. So much for the kids to do.

Excellent Stay at Kingston

This property was perfect for our needs. It was very clean, and had all the items we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was great and we were able to use the indoor pool during our stay and visit the beach as well. We could have used one extra frying pan in the kitchen, but other than that, perfect!
