"This house is amazing! It’s like you are stepping back in time with the way this house is decorated but it is all pristine! Everything you could need is in the house. My husband and I stayed with our infant son just for one night on our way home from family vacation so we didn’t explore the town a lot but felt very safe in the area. "My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250...

"This place is peaceful and secluded the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner kept it comfortable you have everything you need to heat up food or keep it cold the view of the river is great and we enjoyed setting on the porch and watching the river and deers that walk right through the yard! The only things I may would change is the chairs on the porch. There is a fire pit also across the road but unfortunately we didn’t get to use it because of rain. "

"We stayed 2 nights in early August at this cute location. It had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Host was very prompt with answering texts, and the cabin was clean and well stocked to prepare breakfast. We will certainly be back! "

"Perfect place to stay if you love sitting outside and listening to nature. The propert was clean and comfortable. Easy distance to travel to Gettysburg or DC (we did both.) Overall, as a family of 4, we would love to return if we ever make it back this direction. "

"We very much enjoyed our honeymoon stay at Apple Blossom Cottage over the July 4th weekend. Perfect location - a private secluded spot and yet so close to Gettysburg. The cottage was clean and tidy and the decor was so nice. Sitting by a bonfire at night listening to the bullfrogs was fun and relaxing. Communication with the host was great too. I recommend Apple Blossom and am hoping to return sometime. "

"Perfect place to stay in Harper’s Ferry. Cottage is exactly as pictured nestled on a quiet street. Very clean , comfortable and beautifully decorated. The fenced yard was large and the perfect area for the dog to run in. The hosts were pleasant and responsive."

"We had a great stay at the Spy House for our family reunion in Harper’s Ferry. The location was perfect and the house was exactly as advertised. The owner was communicative and accommodating. We will hopefully return soon!"

"Our weekend cabin stay was wonderful. The safe neighborhood was quite and peaceful. Its location near nature and the city was just perfect. The cozy cabin was clean and comfy. We loved Gambrill State Park and downtown Frederick didn't disappoint as well."

"We had an amazing stay at this property! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful from start to finish — quickly addressing any issues and even accommodating an early check-in. They went above and beyond by providing a pack and play for our child, which made things so much easier for us.The house itself was beyond comfortable — cozy, clean, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The check-out process was seamless, and any minor hiccups (including a booking issue) were handled immediately...
