"Hotel was once a grand place - currently needs TLC. Not as clean as you would expect. Restaurant menu & service were not up to Blennerhassett reputation. Not sure I would stay there again."

"Overall decent for the money"

"We had a fantastic stay. Marietta is a great town, and the Lafayette is very much a historic hotel. The common areas are rich with historical context and artifacts, and the two restaurants serve different purposes. The nearby area has an abundance of things to enjoy, day and night. "Very charming and unique hotel. Great location."

"At first glance, everything was great. Once we walked around in our room, me in white socks and my wife barefoot, we realized that the floor was filthy. Everything else seemed clean enough, but finding the floors that dirty was a real turn off. The staff was very kind and helpful. "Was told at check in the pool was open, although it's missing a foot of water. When my children went down to swim they were told they weren't allowed that it was 15$ per person."

"We had to have our room changed even before getting settled it had an alarming smell of heavy duty cleaner. The second room was ok. Emergency trip had to book what was available. Next time we will definitely pay more to have better accommodations"

"Staff was very friendly & helpful"

"The property was as expected for the money. The bed was terribly hard. One room had a broken lock, one room had a broken towel bar."

"Very nice and safe Holiday Inn just off I77. Highly recommended."
