Murrundindi Reserve is a beautiful and isolated camping ground. It is also a popular location for those wanting to explore the nearby forest. #localgem
Nice place near Marysville but you need 4-wheel drive to access. The water levels were down near the end of summer. The area was closed last Winter due to fallen trees.
Pack a picnic lunch and take a drive along the stunning Lady Talbot Drive to Taggerty Cascades. Taggerty Cascades is a beautiful short walk (approx 15-20 minutes) through the forest with fabulous waterfalls and photography opportunities along the way. Lyrebirds frequent the area. The falls is not clearly signposted with a map
