The Villa at Val du Vino Winery

The Villa at Val du Vino Winery, located in downtown Murphys, is the ideal gathering spot for family and friends. A nicely remodeled, mostly single-level home with a relaxing pool, hot tub, grassy lawn area, front deck, back patio, and plenty of off-street parking, surrounded by 3 areas of open space and vineyards. The home sits just off Main Street adjacent the Val du Vino Winery, so you're about as close and convenient to downtown Murphys as you want to be, but without the traffic and parking issues. Just a few minutes walk to the Murphys Hotel, shops, restaurants, two dozen wine tasting rooms, community park, playground, bocce courts and the river. A comfortable and inviting floor plan with open living, dining and kitchen areas that make it an an easy place to gather. A gourmet chefs kitchen is well-stocked for cooking and entertaining, with a Dacor 8-burner gas stove and two ovens, refrigerator with automatic icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, electric tea kettle, toaster and blender, plus a gas BBQ on the patio. Coffee beans, half and half, teas, hot chocolate, and basic spices are provided. Five-star amenities like chocolates by the bedside, snacks, fresh flowers and free WiFi have it stand out from the rest. This home lives primarily on one level with three bedrooms, three full baths on the main level, one bedroom and a half bath downstairs. If you're looking to sleep 10, There is an another room downstairs with a set of bunk beds that can be opened up for an additional $100/per person per stay for up to 2 nights. The layout is a comfortable choice for guests of all ages, with a wheelchair accessible ramp from parking to the front door, and a stall shower in one of the bedrooms, making it easier for those with limited mobility. Other comforts include central heating and air conditioning, a toasty gas fireplace, laundry room with pool towels provided, a piano, two guitars, cornhole, all-age games and books to keep you entertained. A fully fenced backyard keeps pets safe and happy. Plenty of off-street parking for vehicles, plus a level spot on the concrete basketball pad to park a boat. On some Thursday evenings we host an all acoustic open mic in the music barn next door, and you are welcome to drop by to watch or participate. If you're looking for that special, 5-star getaway, the Villa at Val du Vino Winery is the perfect spot to sip, soak and stay

This was a truly amazing place to stay! It’s within walking distance (5 min) of a dozen wine tasting rooms in Murphys, CA. Next to the Val Du Vino winery, but on its own driveway nestled a little away in the trees. Pool and hot tub were great! The property was well kept and had everything you might need. Host is a great communicator, too! Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for our group getaway! Spacious living room. We bbq'd a great dinner the first night. Loved how close we were to everything! Only complaint is a couple of the beds were way too hard. 2 of our guests ended up sleeping on the couch the second night.

As a Val du Vino wine club member, I knew about the house. We took some of our family, and enjoyed 3 nights. Murphys is amazingly cute with lots to do, but the house is outfitted for entertainment and the setting is beautiful with green hills and vuneyards. Absolutely delightful!

Been visiting Murphy’s for last 25 years for a weekend of fun, eats and favorite wines. We stay at the Villa Val Du Vino whenever it’s available. It’s very spacious and close to downtown. The onsite winery is great to visit and relax before you start your adventures. The house is great for larger groups with each getting a good size bedroom and bathroom. Easy walk to downtown. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for four nights over New Year's. The house was perfect for 2 families with 4 kids between between 6 and 11. Super clean and well stocked and great for kids.The location is likely the best spot in Murphy's. Literally across the street from a decent winery, right at the end of main street. We went skiing one day and then wondered around Murphy's for a couple of days. Would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend it.

We were four couples in town for a group reunion in Murphys. Just wanted a place where we could stay together comfortably and socialize comfortably, and the Villa was all of that. Well-furnished kitchen and comfortable living area. The one question we had (about TV internet channels) was resolved immediately. Recommended.

The house was great. It is walking distance to downtown, the wine tasting rooms, shops and restaurants. We were there for a girls' weekend. We did not use the bbq or dipping pool, but we did use the kitchen to fix breakfast and dinner. We also didn't take advantage of the games, but many are available. The bedrooms are cute, and the 3 upstairs bedrooms each have a balcony or patio. The kitchen is great and the open concept makes it easy to visit with each other. The flowers on the table, the half and half in the fridge, and the chocolates by the bed were a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.
