Mountain Retreat with Long range Views

I am looking to rent my cabin in Murphy, NC. Located 1.5 miles to the city center. This is a two bedroom, two bathroom cabin with a loft. The pictures pretty much tell you everything but I am always happy to answer questions. It has a king bed in the downstairs master, full kitchen, living room and dining area on the main floor. On the second floor is a loft with a twin bed as well as a second bedroom that has two Queen beds. There is also a full bathroom. Both bedrooms have a smart tv as well as the living room, there is no cable tv. There is WiFi, washer and dryer in unit and utilities included in the rental price. No pets and No smoking. For safety I have turned off the access to the Fireplace.

The outside has a patio with three sets of stairs. Stairs are required to enter the house, 4-5 steps. Views are of the Smokey Mountains and nature is all around us. The property sits on a little over two acres. There are hummingbirds, as well as other birds that frequent the bird feeders, deer trails that cross over the property and they frequently graze in the morning and late afternoon around the property. A large fire pit area to sit around; relax and let your troubles fade away.

The cabin is perfectly located to many great attractions that can be reached within minutes to no more than 2 hours away: Major cites like; Gatlinburg, Chattanooga, Asheville, and Atlanta. Smaller cities like; Blue Ridge, Elijay, Helen, Blairsville, and many others. WaterFalls, hiking trails, whitewater rafting, tubing, ziplines, fishing, boating, golfing, winter skiing and so much more. This is natures paradise!

There are local events nearly every week from festivals to rodeos to big foot expeditions and the casino is less than 5 miles away. Give my cabin a try and see why my family fell in love with this beautiful area.

View is unmatched; interior decor is attractive for cabin feel; easy to get in/out of Murphy. Rained two days during our stay, so our (FWD) Telluride could not get up the driveway. Slick wet leaves and driveway could prevent some vehicles, so be prepared to walk up to house in inclement weather. King bed comfy, quiet area makes sleep come easily! Kitchen is equipped, albeit small, so wall shelves and pantry drawers are smart way to stow dishes & utensils. Water filter could be replaced, it's cracked and leaks. Would certainly stay here again for proximity to town and the view that otherwise you'd have to drive miles into the mountains to have. Good value!

The house was exceptional. Very clean, beds were very comfortable, warm and cozy home, beautiful views. Would’ve been nice to have working fireplace and firewood available at the home. Amenities were great also. Recommend never arriving after dark because address was challenging as well as an extremely steep driveway. I have a 4x4 so we were able to safely get up to house. We would’ve booked again however, it’s currently for sale. Overall, exceptional experience!

I was a nice week (60’s and 70’s) so I stayed outside every day. My wife loved getting caught up on her tv shows while I sat on the deck and watched the wildlife while I also read books. The only issue we had was that the WiFi kept going out. That was ok with me, but the wife was disappointed in that. The cabin was nice, clean, and stocked. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed watching the deer every morning and evening. On the last day, we saw 6 deer with 2 bucks. That was a good ending to our stay at this nice home.

Cute well appointed cabin. Just a couple minor issues. I didn’t receive the code to enter the condo until 5 PM. We were just about ready to drive back home. just a little stressful! The coffee pot had coffee in it with moldy grounds in the filter. the king size bed looked great but once we got into bed, there was such a strong smell of B.O. we ended up moving to the upstairs bedroom. The bedding definitely wasn’t clean. The driveway was wet from rain and our Pathfinder couldn’t make it up the slick driveway. Not really the owners fault though. We still enjoyed our stay!

This place was wonderful. The cabin looks exactly like the photos that are posted. The beds were very comfortable. Just a little warning, the driveway is very steep but with caution manageable. We will be staying again. I GIVE IT 5 STARS ⭐️

Great cabin - a few too many throw rugs for tripping on (all of us are seniors) but it was clean, beautiful, as advertised. Saw one deer from the deck one morning and beautiful view of the mountains. Quiet for R & R - thanks!!

This cabin was exactly as portrayed. Clean and beautiful with wonderful view and very cozy cabin. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend with our family. Plus it is conviently close to town if yiu need to leave. Communication with host was fast and easy.

Woke up found bed bugs bites on me. Host stated it was just lent since I've been home. I've been eating up also. I've had to have my house treated since I left this was horrible.
