Little Missouri Riverfront, Crater of Diamonds, Lake Greeson

Peaceful, contemporary cabin on 5 acres riverfront on the Little Missouri River. Sounds of running water and a breeze through the trees puts a smile on your face as soon as you arrive. Stow your gear inside and get comfortable on the wrap around patio, around the fire pit or the campfire. This place has a spectacular view of the river from the large, open den, kitchen and upstairs landing. Excellent hiking fishing, kayaking and canoeing just steps from the patio.
The Crater of Diamonds where you can find your own diamonds and gems is within a 20 minute drive. Lake Greeson is only a 15 minute drive away.

We loved the house and had a wonderful time playing in the river. It’s close to the Diamond Crater State Park, which we enjoyed for one day. 10/10 would recommend. We’re already planning our next trip back for this fall.

Spring Break Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is great and we loved that kayaks were provided along with life jackets, we had a blast. This place had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was great. Will definitely stay here again!

The retreat.

The cabin is beautiful and comfortable. The little dock is so relaxing. The only problem was Google Maps took us the wrong way. However, theneighbors down the river were so kind and helped us. They hopped into there side by side and lead us to the cabin! In the daylight we were able to see all of the signs to the cabin. My suggestion...follow the signs instead of google maps!

Absolute Paradise by the River!

This cabin is everything you could dream of and more! The moment we arrived, we were blown away by its stunning location and the sheer sense of privacy and freedom it offered. Nestled right next to the river, the serene views and soothing sounds of the water, the wind blowing through the trees, and the birds chirping instantly set the mood for an unforgettable getaway. The cabin itself is incredibly spacious, perfect for family bonding while still allowing everyone their own space to unwind. Every detail feels thoughtfully curated, and the cozy yet luxurious vibe made us feel right at home. From the first “wow” upon stepping inside to the lasting memories we’ve taken away, this place truly exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape filled with excitement and comfort!

Amazing cabin on the river!

This was an amazing place to stay to get away from noise. There are several cabins near this one but still plenty of space to have peace and quiet. Cabin was perfect for our group. Nicely furnished and comfortable! We can’t wait to stay here again! Only thing to consider was that on the last day of our stay there must have been a dam release because the water in the river went from perfectly clear and gorgeous to extremely cloudy and a bit smelly. Just something to consider looking into to plan your trip around any releases (and give it a day or two to clear up again). Otherwise, perfect place, and perfect stay!

Great hideaway on the river.

We had a very relaxing time in this very nice secluded loft cabin that is well off the beaten path. It is a beautiful piece of woods. If you book this area, make sure you print or screen shot the directions and the check in process. USE THE MAPS APP,!!! GOOGLE AND WAZE WILL ONLY GET YOU TO THE NEIGHBORS HOUSE and you cant get to the rental. Because of its seclusion there is no cell service. The wifi worked well and it’s password protected.

Can't say enough good things

I have stayed in some very nice VRBO's, but this beautiful property in Murfreesboro, AR stands out high above the others. The glorious views of the river, the canoes and kayak, life vests and beach towels to share make it wonderfully convenient for us simply to show up there and flow into a peaceful life-on-the-river. A surprisingly small number of flying insects allowed us to eat every meal out-of-doors and enjoy our campfire after dark. Nancy, the property host, could not be more generous and gracious. We just returned from our second stay at the River Retreat and hope to return there again and again.

Annual Family retreat

Property was great. It is hard to find a property that is pet friendly without concerns about cleanliness. When we arrived you could not tell pets had been in the house or around the property. We all loved the huge deck overlooking the river. Water in river was cold but refreshing. Lake Greeson was one of the best lakes I have ever been too. Clean, minimal boat docks, and not crowded. We will be back

Relaxing River Retreat

Wonderful place to stay if you want a relaxing vacation. Weather was perfect for sitting on the dock and the area was so peaceful. We were visited nightly by deer and enjoyed walking through the stores in town. Visited Crater of Diamonds and Ka-Do-Ha Indian village twice. We came home with a good collection of arrowheads and lots of memories! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Quiet get away

The property is very cozy. The owner provided everything to make our stay comfortable. Coffee, sugar, full kitchen supplies, canoes for our enjoyment. Just a great place to stay. Nancy is extremely responsive. A great host!

Well Equipped Cabin by the River
