"We really enjoyed our stay at The White Villas. We were not able to get early check-in before 2pm but they were willing to hold our luggage in the front room while we explored Ubud on our first day, which was helpful. The villa is very beautiful inside and looks just like the pictures. There was plenty of space inside for the 5 of us and it had 3 bathrooms! In the afternoon they give you a piece of paper to fill out for all the guests for your breakfast order. Breakfast was good and filling....

"Good breakfast and our kids loved the private pool. Everything was great and the owners were friendly. We didn’t realise that the three rooms are actually seperate buildings all within the same enclosed private compound but that was fine and fun for kids. Only slight negative was that one of the rooms smelt damp and musty but the other 2 were fine so we just used those 2 as our youngest wanted to sleep on the couch in our room rather than by herself in the musty smelling room. "I had a disappointing experience with Expedia and the villa listed on their platform. This villa was advertised as being near downtown Ubud, but in reality, it was located far out in the countryside, nowhere close to the city. This false advertisement caused a lot of inconvenience, especially since there was no taxi service available for pickup or transportation. The location was misleading and not what I expected based on what was promised. I would not recommend this villa or booking through...

"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. "We enjoyed every aspect of our time at the Ridge in Ubud. The staff and butler service were more than accomodating of all our requests and nothing was difficult. The room was excellent and comfortable with spectacular views. The entire experience was easy and relaxing from the moment we arrived. We will happily return to the Ridge on our next visit to UBUD."
