"Home is an older home but redone nice. Since it is an older home the floors squeak a lot when walking on them. The heat was hard to regulate since it’s the old radiator heat but once it gets warm you will be toasty. The half bath in the basement isn’t appealing since the basement leading to it is old and dreary looking. The bath upstairs is really nice. The backyard is nice. "

"Great stay, no problems with the house what so ever, neighbor has a great culture feel, amazing elote place down the road along with 6 Flags and a fairly short trip to the city. Only complaint is that it was listed as the whole house but there were people staying below in the basement, did not effect our stay whatsoever though. Had a really good time and would stay again!"

"Great little lake house that fit our family of 4 for a quick weekend. Nicely remodeled. Owner was very quick to respond to questions and accommodate a couple requests for us. The best part was hanging out on the deck and enjoying the lake view and breeze with extended family who were staying at a hotel."

Two weeks prior to our stay, I read over past reviews and noticed that on January 6, 2023, Allie V wrote a review listing multiple problems. I asked if those issues had been addressed. He said that he was going to have a handyman come out, but that didn't happen. There wasn't hot water the entire weekend in the main part of the house and no water at all in the other section of the home. I...

"Well worth renting this home. We stayed here for a Great Lakes graduation and long weekend with our new sailor. Beautiful home, lots of nice touches. Windows and porches overlooking lake. Balcony off primary bedroom. Plenty of space. Great TV streaming access for relaxing evenings. Well apportioned kitchen. Thanks to the owners for a smooth process and great stay!"
