  • Esta casa de estilo hawaiano, situada en una finca de dos acres, te permitirá disfrutar de la auténtica vida en la Isla Grande. Un entorno tranquilo y relajante. Aire fresco de montaña. Una magnífica vegetación autóctona. Un clima fresco y agradable.

    Explora la isla en kayak por la bahía de Hilo. Alquiler gratuito de dos kayaks de mar para los huéspedes que figuran en la reserva.

    La propiedad está situada entre la ciudad de Hilo (a 30 minutos en coche) y el Parque Nacional de los Volcanes de Hawái (a 25 minutos en coche), lo que resulta muy práctico para explorar la costa de barlovento de la isla.

    Nuestra casa dúplex consta de una vivienda principal de tres dormitorios y una casa de invitados de un dormitorio. Ambas unidades están alquiladas actualmente. Las unidades están separadas por un lavadero y una cochera, que es el espacio compartido con otros huéspedes.

    La casa principal de tres dormitorios (en el lado derecho del dúplex) es luminosa, con mucha luz natural y la brisa de los vientos alisios.
    Cada dormitorio tiene una cómoda cama king size con sábanas 100 % de algodón. En el salón hay un sofá cama doble donde pueden dormir dos personas más.
    La cocina está equipada con una nevera grande, cocina eléctrica, microondas, tostadora, cafetera, olla arrocera y otros utensilios básicos para cocinar. Los baños están provistos de toallas limpias, jabón, champú, acondicionador y secador de pelo. Otras comodidades incluyen Smart TV, lavadora y secadora.

    El agua que usamos proviene del sistema de recogida de agua de lluvia, muy habitual en esta isla. Se filtra mediante un sistema de luz UV, pero puede que no sea la mejor opción para beber. Quizá te interese traer tu propia agua embotellada.
    El lavadero y la cochera son zonas comunes que compartirás con otros huéspedes
    que se alojen en la casa de invitados de un dormitorio.
    Te daremos el código de la puerta y otras instrucciones para el check-in un día antes de tu llegada.

The property is tastefully updated and is one of the cleanest properties I've ever stayed at in the islands. The layout is great and comfortable and there were plenty of linens for everyone. Beds were on the firmer side. The location was perfect for enjoying the Hilo side of the island. The host offered fabulous directions to find it. The wifi was great. There were basic kitchen things for cooking in. No laundry onsite but it wasn't an issue. The host offered lots of snorkel and water accessories. A true gem of a property!

The house was clean and well-equipped. We especially appreciated details like beach towels, lawn chairs, snorkel equipment, etc.Laundry facilities were exceptional!The snacks at welcome were thoughtful.Dampness in the home was a bit challenging; given the climate here, bath mats and towels stayed damp, and there was a bit of a musty smell in the home.The host was attentive and responsive, and All in all, this was a good home base for a family wishing to explore the east side of the island.

Only good things to tell - Very clean, a lot of space, everything you need is there, great location when visiting the east side of the island including Volcanoes National Park. The location of the property is also very quiet (only the frogs and other creatures at night take a bit of getting used to ;)). Can definitely recommend.

Very nice remote home

The house is in a nice location for a remote peaceful visit to the Big Island. The home was clean and well supplied and the hosts communicated well.There were a few critters in the kitchen while we were there, but not unexpected for a home located in such a remote area.A very nice stay overall!

Perfect Place!

We rented both sides of this duplex and it was perfect! So clean and spacious! We had a great time! Great isolated location but close to volcano and Hilo! We’d definitely stay here again!

High-quality spot for a family

Overall, a great stay! Very clean property, nice sized bedrooms, 2 full baths. Saw a few roaches around the property, so didn’t love that, but that happens when staying in the middle of the woods. Kitchen was pretty nice, stocked with plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, and pots/pans, plus some dry goods, like coffee, spices, oil, etc. would definitely recommend staying here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, towels and everything we needed for a successful stay. The house is centrally located between Hilo and Volcano National Park. The skies are so clear Star gazing is amazing.
