"It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

"We had a wonderful family stay near Deep Creek, Maryland, for our daughter’s graduation from West Virginia University. The house was perfect for our large group—spacious, comfortable, and just a short drive from the graduation ceremony on Sunday morning.The setting was peaceful and relaxing, yet still close enough to all the activities and entertainment in the area. "My family spent the weekend here. We absolutely loved this place. Very cozy and private. We spent more time around the fire pit than we did at the actual lake. The view of the lake from the fire pit was so calming and peaceful. The dock was very cool. The host was welcoming and accommodating and very easy to reach if you need. We would stay here again for sure. Even my pups loved the private yard Thank you to the host!"

"My husband and I stayed at this cabin between 7/30 to 8/1/2025. It was absolutely lovely and a quiet, relaxing get away. We enjoyed the beautiful space, the outdoor views and hikes, and, of course, the hot tub! Nothing is better after a week of travel than de-stressing somewhere so calm and cute. The hosts were helpful and communicative, the home was clean and beds were comfortable, and everything was curated for max relaxation. Loved this place!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse Lodge. It was quiet, cozy and had a great view of nature. The road to get there was steep and bumpy but my Prius handled it (in June, no snow).
