"It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

"What a great house! My friends and I stayed for the weekend. The house is large and quite comfortable. We enjoyed spending time on the private dock and in the hot tub. We had a great time and would stay there again."

"Great place to stay for the night, located very close to downtown Davis and Blackwater falls! It was cozy and just what we needed. The only thing that could be improved is the water temperature of the shower is very tempermental, as in you have to get it exactly in the right spot or its too hot or too cold. This is minor but something to note. We would definitely stay here again. The hostest was very responsive and I would give her 10 stars if possible. Thanks! "

"What fun we all had! The indoor pool was definitely a highlight for us! kids of all ages were able to enjoy the game room and spend quality time in and around the lake. The use of 2 large refrigerators and 2 dishwashers made cooking and clean up a breeze. "

"Great location for exploring Deep Creek and the surrounding areas! This rental was perfect for our family of 5 (with grown children in their 20s). Upper and lower bedrooms via spiral staircase may be difficult for people with mobilities or with really small children, but it was perfect for us. Walk to excellent pizza at Brenda’s and coffeeshop! Beautiful view of lake from deck with functional gas fire table to enjoy cool evenings. Eleni was very responsive and accommodating- great to work with!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse Lodge. It was quiet, cozy and had a great view of nature. The road to get there was steep and bumpy but my Prius handled it (in June, no snow). The main bed was too soft, but without the foam topper it was just right for us. The listing is accurate except that there are now FOUR TVs and nice chairs around the firepit. "The stay was fabulous!! Having 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators 2stoves2coffeemakers! Brilliant!!We had plenty of space to cook for seventeen guests! The communal spaces were comfy and condusive for the games we played. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit!"
