"We found tiny bugs under a pillow and on a sheet, which made us wonder when the bedding had last been changed. We were concerned they might be bed bugs, but fortunately they weren't. Someone had also left a cigarette and ashes on the patio table. Other than that, the property was clean and well maintained. The lady at the front desk was friendly and informative. We also appreciated being able to use the BBQ grill at Idyllwild Inn, even though we were staying off-site at Strawberry Creek."

"Wonderful experience! Staff were friendly and accommodating. The suite we stayed in was spotless when we arrived and everything from the beds, bathrooms, dining/living area was wonderful! Amazing and clean balcony with three loungers and a BBQ grill. Two pools for your convenience and a clean and cozy fitness center. I believe you get much more than what you pay for. We travel quite a bit and this place will probably go right to the top of the list!"

"Beautiful Palm Springs Spanish style hotel with open hallways. Well appointed rooms with a luxury feel and comfortable beds. Close and walkable to downtown Palm Springs. Lots of hotel activities and pool amenities. Staff is excellent and Jose at the front desk made sure we were welcome and informed of hotel activities and things to do in Palm Springs. Wonderful stay."

"The staff esp Roberta ( front desk) were incredibly thoughtful and friendly. I think Roberta was the best check in ever. My room was absolutely immaculate, the pool was spotless, and the grounds were beautiful. I love being able to access to the pool 24/7 and appreciated all the offered amenities The only downside was that Wi-Fi was down and I was unable to use the TV doing my overnight stay I highly recommend this boutique hotel and I look forward to returning"

"We usually stay at the Orbit Inn, but it was full. We love this location so thought we would try The Hideaway. The room was very nice, the bed comfortable, the staff personable and accommodating. The LOCATION is perfect to walk to good restaurants and shopping and it’s quiet and relaxing."

"We stayed over the 4th of July weekend and had a fantastic time. The rooms are well cleaned and spacious. The outdoor amenities are amazing. Outside fire pits and fun family games and walking distance to down town and Starbucks is 10/10 on its own. One thing to note, The pool area’s floor has small debris fragments that will bother you when stepping barefoot so bring some sandals. "I absolutely loved the grounds the cabins were sat amongst. The staff were so friendly. Unfortunately the cabin we stayed in was so old and dirty. The doors to the wardrobes were ready to fall off and so many trip hazards around like walking into the kitchen area & main bathroom. "Overall amazing experience and would highly recommend. Sparkling clean rooms, great facilities and amenities. The only small downside was that the staff seemed friendly but very strict. There are a lot of strict rules on how to behave onside the property that seemed a little over the top, especially in an adults only facility."

"Jazz Hotel exceeded expectations. We went in July — off-season for Palm Springs — and basically had the place to ourselves. Good for a couples trip focused on R&R. Room and pool were both solid, and location worked well for getting around. Nice touch: a shared lounge with a coffee maker and a way to warm up food, plus a stocked fridge with water, juice, and yogurts. Small thing, but it made mornings easy. No complaints. We enjoy Desert Hills because of it’s easy no fuss check in, it’s quaint space with only 12 or 13 rooms I believe? It’s in a quiet neighborhood that is walking distance to Spencer’s, Melvyn’s and downtown. The rooms are really clean, very comfortable and we love the mid century decor.
