"Great location for Harrisburg area. Walkable to riverfront, restaurants, etc. Quaint home, great value. The only hitch was a front door difficult to open but manager responded quickly to assist."

"We stayed at this VRBO for one month after we were laid off and had our lease end at the same time so we could job hunt and apartment hunt. This apartment is very small, even for a studio, but it has everything you need. We were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities!I definitely would not recommend it for a month or longer, though. The Murphy bed has a thin, rollable mattress so it can be stowed away when not in use. We brought a mattress topper which made it more comfortable, but overall I...

"This is a great spot for exploring Gettysburg. It is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also a very short drive to the battlefield. It was very cool staying in a building that was original to the Civil War. You are basically staying in the attic because it is up two flights of stairs. We didn’t mind this at all but just a heads up if you struggle with steps. My only complaint is the bedroom with one bed can get very warm if you shut the door. The host does provide a...

"We had a great stay. It’s a quiet location with great views. It was easy to get to the highway and stores even though it was tucked back in the country. We saw deer each night, and our son loved watching them play. We had everything we needed and then some. "

"Great place. Loved it for my family celebrating our son's graduation from Gettysburg College. We all enjoyed the home feel experience. The home is well kept and clean. Instructions were perfect. Thank you to our host. "

"Loved the house itself. The only downsize was the street the house is on is extremely busy till late at night. We had a wedding the next day and it was difficult getting a good nights sleep. The house was clean and quaint. Once I used my brown noise app on my phone, it was easier to block out the noise from the traffic and finally get a good night sleep. "
