  • Nestled in Mount Dora, less than a mile from the downtown, this cozy bungalow offers a lovely bedroom with a comfy queen bed. The property is newly renovated with its own private driveway and gated area. What makes this space unique is its warm rustic feel with wood ceilings and beams. It comes equipped with a kitchenette with a dishwasher and full sized fridge. Also includes an all-in-one washer and dryer. Security cameras on property for safety.

Beautiful cottage, very private. It looks brand new, very well equipped for a short vacation. Close to downtown Mt Dora. Very easy process for checking / checkout. Highly recommend for a relaxing but luxurious getaway!

This was one of my FAVORITE places to stay. The host was AMAZING and made us feel at home during our stay. This place is a GEM! Spotless, great location and access with room to easily park our two truck's. The bed is VERY COMFORTABLE and we rested better there than our own home!! We will DEFINITELY be booking this again when we return to the area. I highly recommended The Side Gate

The Side Gate is just the cutest little place and absolutely perfect for our girls weekend getaway. Grace has thought of every amenity you could possibly need. The location is close to all the activites in Mt Dora. We loved it so much we are planning on coming back with our husbands! Thank you Grace for the welcome note and wine! Its the little touches that made this a fantastic weekend!!

The Side Gate was a wonderful stay! It is beautifully appointed from the structure to the pillows and bedding. The host has thought of everything. Provided coffee, everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom was gorgeous with plenty of towels and extra amenities. Host provided lovely welcoming note. Unit also has side yard that we did not have time to use but would is nice spot to enjoy time outside. We walked to downtown Mt Dora which was reason for the trip. This was a perfect stay!

The Side Gate was a lovely place to stay for our anniversary weekend. It is situated close by the center of Mt Dora, near shops, restaurants, and beautiful natural places to walk. The home was well stocked, cozy, and clean. And the host communicated well and provided all the comforts of home - including access to a gas grill in the backyard area, which we used for a dinner in one evening!

We absolutely LOVEDDDDDDDDDD the Side Gate! Grace was so patient, welcoming and generous. The cottage is adorable and has all the amenities you could want and then some! We hope to stay there every time we are in Mt Dora in the future!!!!!

Just 3/4 of a mile from the bustling village of Mount Dora, you'll find an array of fabulous restaurants and unique shops right at your fingertips. Plus, there are plenty of water activities nearby to enjoy! Whether you're in the mood for a classic meal at Outback or want to savor the local flavors at the Peach Pantry, you’ll be thrilled with the dining options. The newly built cottage is beautifully appointed, featuring a super comfy bed and a lovely bathroom—perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. And let’s not forget our fantastic host, who made our stay even more special! It was an experience filled with comfort, excitement, and charm!
