Completely renovated and modernized historic home circa 1887 with 3 bedroom (2 King, 1 Queen) and 2 bath (Hot Water on Demand) located in beautiful downtown Mount Dora. Fully equipped Kitchen, Dining Room for six and Laundry Room. Plenty of parking even for a boat. 2.5 blocks walking distance to historic downtown Mount Dora (Shopping, Dining and Entertainment). 45 minutes to Walt Disney World via SR 429. 45 minutes to Universal Orlando, Seawporld, I-Drive and Outlet Mall via SR 429 & the Turnpike.

There was a boil water order due to a storm but James provided us with bottled water and came over to update us. He was very communicative. The house was clean and as described. We were very comfy.

We loved staying at this house! It's a 5 minute walk into downtown, just far enough away to be quiet at night but not needing a car to get into all the activities. This time it was only my wife and me, but there is room for more as the downstairs has 2 bedrooms and another bathroom. We stayed upstairs in the master suite which has a nice balcony with a table and chairs to relax and oversee the front yard. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed, and the bathrooms had plenty of towels and amenities. James lives next door and was very attentive when we messaged him with questions. Also chatted with us for a bit and gave us recommendations for dinner and things to do. Great rental for the asking price, we would stay here again.

This property has a great deal of character and history. It is exceptionally well prepared by the owner, spotlessly clean and every amenity you can think of is available for use. The location couldn't be better, being just a short walk into the town of Mount Dora. The house also has dedicated/private parking making staying there even easier! The owner's communication, prior to the stay, upon arrival and during the stay was outstanding and just right. We would definitley stay here again. A great place.

When you are in Mount Dora, please stay at this amazing house! What an awesome property. Close to downtown Mount Dora. Exquisite inside and out. James was accommodating and so pleasant to work with. We will be staying there again!!

Wonderful experience. The house was clean and inviting. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning drinking coffee and in the evening drinking wine. It is a short walk to downtown that we could walk to go shopping or have a meal. Highly recommend this place.

Comfortable sleeping for six people. Well stocked kitchen. Just stop at the grocery store on your way to the house. large dining room table or multiple restaurants are within a 10 minute walk. The 10 minute walk also includes arriving downtown forshopping in the fine stores of Mount Dora. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful home, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and walkable to town. Front porch is large and comfortable. It is on a busy road but we still enjoyed sitting out front each morning/evening. Owner very responsive. Would love to return!

Myself, my 3 daughters and 2 granddaughters absolutely loved the house! Walking distance to Mount Dora shops. We didn’t use our cars during our 2 night /3 day stay. We loved the history of the house. We would book again!

Extraordinary home

Six of us had a wonderful stay at this home. The first thing that you notice is that everything has been modernized and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and cooking tools, a selection of coffee and teas, and a good ice maker. All the rooms are spacious, and everything is spotless. It IS on a pretty main street so there are the inevitable loud music playing vehicles driving by at times. It was nice to all sit on the front porch and chat in the mornings and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Stay was amazing!

Our host James and his wife went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable . The house was immaculate and enough room for me and my family, it was 6 of us and we all were very well taken care of . The host was available at all times . I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future, the location is perfect , you can walk downtown and enjoy the local shops and restaurants.

Wonderful House!

Our family really enjoyed the Royellou House for our stay in Mount Dora! Everything was very clean and James was so accommodating! We were able to walk to downtown Mt. Dora. Will hopefully be back next year.

Beautiful Home Close to Everything

This was a beautiful place to stay! The home had everything we needed and the communication with the owner was excellent. We enjoyed walking into town and exploring- it was an easy walk from the home.
