  • Heron Pool es un país encantador casa privada situada en Somesville Harbor. Es al final de un largo camino con vistas panorámicas de la bahía y las montañas. La propiedad comparte un muelle con los vecinos. Disfrute de águilas calvas, águilas pescadoras, somormujos, focas, ciervos, y más de la baraja. En su interior está decorado con antigüedades, sofás mullidos, y un montón de espacio para su familia. 4 dormitorios en la casa, con 2 camas queen size y 4 camas individuales y una cama queen size en los pasos privados cabaña lejos de la casa. Almuerzo en el jardín en una mesa de teca establecido con vistas al agua, nadar en el muelle durante la marea alta, el puerto kayak o simplemente dormitar en una silla de jardín. Bicicletas y kayaks se pueden alquilar a nivel local, y Somes Pond está a unos minutos de distancia y mucho más caliente que nadan en que el océano.

    Heron piscina capacidad para 10 personas cómodamente y es verdaderamente un hogar familiar. Es ideal para los niños con un columpio de madera, campos y la costa para explorar, todo bien apartado de la carretera.

    Si alguna vez salga de la propiedad se puede disfrutar de todo lo que el Parque Nacional Acadia, Bar Harbor, SW Harbor y NE del puerto tienen que ofrecer. Lovely 1930’s home close to an ocean inlet. Quiet, spacious and easy drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Perfect place to gather with family and relax. Fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We had some problems working the air conditioning units but eventually figured them out.

Great location for what we were doing in Acadia. The dock was great and the wildlife was fun for the family. The deck was a great gathering place every morning for coffee and to set up plans for the day. We had a large group and there were plenty of rooms so we could put people where they had privicy. We had a couple of hot days and the AC upstairs had some problems but they got fans for us and worked on making our stay an enjoyable event. The host and his local manager were very helpful and made sure things were open when we arrived and were in contact quickly if we had any questions. The house was clean and well stocked with towels bedding and anything we needed . We were able to cook onsite as well as find great dining withing a few minutes away.Great place to stay.

We loved the house! The dock and view of the sound were awesome. The location was wonderful, close to all the cute areas. Would definitely stay here again.

The Heron Pool house worked perfectly for our three-generation family of nine—plenty of space for us not to be on top of each other. On the outside deck and from inside rooms, there were relaxing views of water with eagles flying overhead. The dock on calm water allowed us to bring a couple kayaks and go out, at a moment’s whim, for a fun spin in a kayak. The kitchen was well stocked. The blinking light near the entrance to the driveway made the house easy to find. The owners and the local manager were delightful to work with and promptly responsive to any questions we had. You can tell that the house has been dearly loved by the owners’ family. We felt honored to be able to enjoy and love it as well.

Great property, views of the water, deer visited everyday , 3 adult couples had plenty of space. The location is perfect close to park, bar harbor and southwest harbor.

We immensely enjoyed our stay at the Hearon pool. The house was a destination itself in the beautiful Acadia setting.

Most beautiful place

More beautiful than the pictures can show, this house is a dream, on the water, spacious, private. My family and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect home base to explore Acadia.

Peaceful location close to Acadia NP.

Great location. Lots of space to move about with the 8 of us. Loved the little cottage on the property which gave my husband and I some quiet from our adukt kids who stay up later than we do!

Eclectic House with Tableware for many many guests

Our group of 10 as 3 families really enjoyed the house. The kitchen was well stocked on dishes, cooking items, spices. We also enjoyed the library of books (there was a very eclectic range of books)

Herron Pool was charming and takes a step back in time. If you enjoy antiques and feeling like you are living in a charming New England cottage, then this place is for you!

Wonderful Visit to Maine

We greatly enjoyed our stay Heron Pool. There were several small issues that we encountered but the caretaker was able to resolve them quickly. We met our host and he was wonderfully welcoming and made us feel like part of the family.

Great Location, Peaceful Stay

We had an enjoyable stay at Robert's property. There was plenty of space for the entire family, yet it still felt comfortable and cozy. The location was perfect for getting around Mt. Desert Island. The location by the water was incredibly peaceful.

Heron Pool

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is in a beautiful location. Kitchen is well equipped and clean. The caretaker was very responsive. The bottom bunk was uncomfortable for an adult, but the other accommodations were fine.

Just perfect

Our party of 8 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for our group…close to several towns but secluded and private. The house was quaint, clean and well stocked. The homeowner and caretaker were quick to respond to any questions. We are so glad we chose Heron Pool!

Beautiful location - convenient to Acadia & downtown Bar Harbor

This was the first time we stayed in this area of the island and it did not disappoint. It was an easy drive to Acadia National Park, downtown Bar Harbor, and the Bass Harbor lighthouse. The sunrises every morning over the water were spectacular, the house was homey and quaint with a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of space for our family of 5 and 2 significant others. Highly recommend!

Great location at the center of Acadia

Property is ideally located literally at the center of Acadia. Short drive to all the hikes and local attractions on Mt Desert Island. Very peaceful watching the tides roll in and out from the deck. Plenty of room in the house, which is well-maintained.

Beautiful Stay in Mount Desert

We had a wonderful stay at Heron Pool. Our family gathering was an opportunity to visit Acadia National Park and this property was a perfect fit. We were so comfortable in this lovely home, so spacious, clean, and well stocked, and the outside shower and use of the dock were icing on the cake. Entrance to Acadia is a breeze, and a trip into Bar Harbor is a hop, skip and jump as well. We all loved the stay! Thank you Robert and Robin for sharing your beautiful home.

Perfect Multi-generation Girls Trip

This house was perfect for our family girls trip with three generations. The kitchen was very well stocked. Five bedrooms gave us plenty of room to sleep comfortably. There are several sitting areas including a nice sun room and deck. The view was amazing and we enjoyed watching the tide come in and out. Best of all was the location.to Acadia. Great house to create lasting memories!
