Wonderland Makarora Lodge
Check in was good, details and directions given for our Lodge.All amenities available. Walked down to the Cafe/ bar and enjoyed a glass of wine in front of the log fire. Checked following at 9:45pm, filled the car from their onsite petrol station. All good.

Birdsong Cottage - nestled up against Mt Aspiring National Park
Birdsong Cottage is well named with a multitude of birds in the surrounding bush and we could hear morepork at night. Beautiful location, good directions and cosy. I would suggest the shower could be improved and the pool chemicals would be better out of reach of children.

Welcoming and well loved older house centrally located in Haast township
The house was cosy and well equipped (although we couldnt find a hairdryer). The beds were comfy and the place was lovely and clean. The bathroom is a little dated as is the kitchen but it is accurately described and had what we needed. The fire was wonderful. Overall it was very good.
