"The room is a repurposed office, so the shape is a little unusual having a full window as the wall facing the road. This is covered by a curtain. If you need to sleep in total darkness, it may be a little uncomfortable. The curtain blocked the light enough for us to sleep comfortably though. The location gives great walking access to the castle and train station. There are trains and buses to different cultural attractions. "Very nice cabin in the Gifu mountains with a covered patio outside that’s fitted with a charcoal grill, sink, fire wood and a portable fire pit. The cabin was very clean, spacious, and well built with a unique taste. Two bedrooms on the second floor with a front facing sitting room. The shower room was very nice with a large tub crafted from wood. The owners are also very sweet, one of them speaks good English.
