Great welcome, great views, great find.

What a wonderful find. Great welcome from Margaret beautiful views, huge room. Fantastic breakfast too- can’t recommend it more highly.

Made very welcome came to let me know when my vehicle alarm kept going off and even suggested moving it around the back out of the wind. Breakfast was cooked to order and thoroughly enjoyable.

Outstanding and lovely lady.

this B&B would stand out from your normal B&B. Margaret is a lovely helpful lady and her cooked breakfast must be sampled. The rooms are very spacious with very nice fittings. When in the area I will always book here.

Warm and welcoming

My stay was warm and welcoming. Jim and Margaret were the most kind and friendly people. I would recommend their home to everyone going to Scotland. The checked on me every time I came back from touring and gave suggestions of places to go. I would never go anyplace else if I have the opportunity to go back to Scotland. Love it and loved them.

Kör ni bil och tittar er omkring är detta ställe helt perfekt. Det ligger i närheten av Glasgow och inte långt från Edingburg. Det var en mycket trevlig upplevelse på denna guest house värdinnan var mycket hjälpsam med tips vad man kan göra samt att hon fixade frukost. Stora rum rent och snyggt. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta ställe

A Gem Of A B&B

A warm and friendly greeting by the owner on arrival who showed me to the superb log cabin accommodation which was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was great and to be fair I could have ordered more but I’ll save that for my next visit. All in all this B&B puts most of the chain hotels to shame. Located in a lovely setting with great 360 views this B&B is a great find and a little gem, I will definitely be staying here again.

Sehr schön und ruhig!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Haus ist gemütlich und sehr familiär. Das Zimmer war ausgesprochen groß, ebenso das Bett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir können das Ridgeland House nur empfehlen

Awesome log cabin. Refreshing change to hotels.

Jim & Margaret were the perfect hosts. Lovely rooms in the farmhouse. Awsome breakfast. Log cabin rooms were great with own lounge/kitchen. Was even given 40% off food voucher to a Beefeater restaurant just a minute up the road. Deffo be returning.

Ridgeway House - a fine stay

Ridgeway House was an Edwardian Mansion located on an estate that had been in the family for 100 plus years. It is located west of Elgin (~ 5 miles) just off the A96. The room was large with on suite (excellent shower) and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent and made to order by our hostess. We drove out for dinner to a busy fun pub in the evening. This location gives you good access to the Whiskey Trail, Elgin Cathedral . We had a great stay the only down side was the access to internet.

Lovely B n B in the country side.

We spent a restful three nights in Ridgeland House BnB. It's such a quiet spot but handy for travelling to all the tourist spots. We were visiting family but you do not have more than thirty or forty minutes into Glasgow and Edinburgh. Margaret the proprietor is very welcoming and friendly and sends you on your journey with a hearty breakfast. The bedrooms are roomy and comfortable.

Excellent B&B!

Fantastic all round! Wonderful log cabin with tremendous attention to detail. Very friendly welcome from the owners. I had mentioned some dietary requirements and they full accommodated me. Can't speak highly enough of the service. I was on business, but would happily return for a family break.

Great accommodation, great location. Margaret and Jim are excellent hosts, who really make you feel at home. The log cabin is an excellent place to stay, I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who is staying near Motherwell.
