"Everything was great. Beds were comfortable and we had a great back yard view and balcony we enjoyed greatly. The breakfast was excellent first two days and became OK the next two days! I will definitely try to stay there on my future SF visits."

"liked that there was onsite parking and security doors all around"

"If you're looking for a unique stay in the Castro, the Hotel Castro is perfect! The rooms are cozy but very charming and perfect for 1-2 travelers. There's a grocery store right across the street, and excellent coffee shops and dining options within walking distance. If you're into nightlife, there are bars and clubs just around the corner."

"Na"

"Safe and budget friendly place near the Castro. The walls are thin, can hear the other guests. The shower and bathroom are shared and not well maintained."

"Clean room, wifi worked well and relatively close to shops and sites"

"Clean room"

"Great food located all within walking distance of the front door!"

"Super scary place. I would never return. The check in staff was helpful and nice but the place is in disrepair and smells terrible and is dirty. When we arrived to room 24 the smoke detector was covered with a shower cap so that people could, and did, smoke in a non-smoking room. The skylight had black mold all over it. I can say the bed was clean as I inspected it thoroughly and the mattress was comfortable. Have I not had to stay in SF for medical issues I would have left."

"J’ai été déçue car ce fut un hôtel « bas de gamme »."

"Great stay!"

"Really nice hotel"

"I had a wonderful stay her with my family. The staff was attentive, Elevators spacious. The vaulted glass enclosure for the pool area was beautiful, relaxing and quiet. There pet area was very nice too. Yes, I would recommend a staycation or weekend getaway here. Valet parking is worth it ; Downtown San Francisco is busy."

"Great location clean and cozy"
