The East Side Inn is a charming little house in the small town of Morris, Minnesota. You'll feel right at home as soon as you arrive. Enjoy the fenced-in yard on a corner lot with off-street parking, right across the street from the city park. A great place to stay and relax, with enough room to bring your family.

Enter the home through the back door, and you'll be met with the living room which features a 50 inch 4K ultra HD TV, and a queen size pull out sofa bed. Off the living area is a reading room with a twin size daybed perfect for an extra guest, or snuggling into the pillows with a book. Sit at the desk for some quick work or to color a picture. We offer a few items to keep kids occupied in the reading room.

Two private bedrooms with queen size beds and TVs with a full bathroom on the upper level. Our house comfortably sleeps 7 guests. We have a RV/Camper pad with electric and water hookups inside the fenced in yard if you would like to bring your camper along too!

We offer a full washer and dryer for our guests to use free of charge, with detergent and dryer sheets included.

everything was fantastic and more than we expected.. there was food waiting for us which was a thoughtful touch. and we did alot of food prepping for sn event and the kitchen was fully stocked and made our chore easy.. the funnest surprise was the junk drawer... who doesnt love a junk drawer.. we were all like a bunch of tourist looking in the junk drawer like it was the main event!!! haha we would rent this space again in a heartbeatthank you john for your excellent communication!!

Your accommodations were excellent. Food was good. It was a little challenging to get to the second floor. Bathroom was not unexpected park across the street is beautiful too bad. They didn’t have a performance scheduled for the band show. Thank you I’ll stay again when we’re in the neighborhood Jack, Joanne, Paul, and Jerry.

Wonderful experience! This house was so charming and clean. There were so many personal touches that created a very warm and cozy environment. There were delicious treats waiting for us and the kitchen was stocked with anything you might need. Close to restaurants, coffee, park and the grocery store. Very Quiet. Would highly recommend this place.

Cozy rental with plentiful amenities

Loved the new hot tub and all the nice little touches throughout the home. Fully stocked toiletries and the snacks and refreshments were above and beyond what we see in most VRBOs. The hot tub was brand new and proved to be most relaxing on a cool spring evening. We didn't expect this added feature as it was added after we booked. Owner was very responsive and professional. If we're ever in the area again, despite having only one bathroom, we'd definitely stay again.

Girls Weekend

Even though there was only one bathroom upstairs and a half bath in basement, the owners made sure everything was great for the weekend. The beds were great with nice linens. The owners also had some items there for us like fresh fruit, eggs, chips, cereral and coffee. Was a nice personal touch.

In town for Family Reunion

This was a very clean and comfy place to stay in! It is quaint and smaller, but it fit our purposes (5 adults) very well. The beds were very comfortable, had plenty of pillows, etc. Very generous host, with water bottles in each bedroom and various snacks and breakfast options available. It was perfect for what we needed, and the location couldn't have been better! We would recommend it!

Great place for a weekend getaway.

Myself and 4 friends booked the East Side Inn for a girls weekend getaway. It was perfect and had everything we needed. You can tell that the owner/property manager takes care and enjoys renting out their property. It comfortably fit 5 adults and met all of our needs. Some of the highlights of this location: driveway parking for 2 cars, very clean house, comfortable beds with soft linens and plenty of pillows, provided a few snacks and coffee supplies, as well as a couple bathroom essentials and soap for laundry (which we used to wash our thrift store finds to wear out to dinner so that was nice). The owner provided timely and clear instructions on checking in and was very nice. I would love to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone considering this location for there stay.

We loved our stay at the East Side Inn! The hosts were AMAZING and communicated so well. The house was stocked with everything we needed including snacks! We were very impressed with the cleanliness. Will stay here again if we make it back to Morris!

The place was so cute and the hosts were welcoming and communicated great. Loved that they had some food and snacks on hand, very thoughtful. The electric fireplace was wonderful to have in the cold December.

Perfect Lodgings

The East Side Inn is an adorable, well-maintained cottage. The space is welcoming, private, lovingly decorated, and spacious. The beds are very comfortable – even the twin daybed on the first floor. Guests can relax on the patio, retreat to the shed in the back yard to enjoy beverages by lantern light, or plan a picnic and playtime in the city park directly across the street. A really nice grocery store, downtown restaurants, and the Prairie Renaissance Cultural Alliance’s gallery of local art are just a couple of blocks away. If you want to explore farther afield, Glacial Lakes State Park is less than a 30-minute drive. I’ve stayed in other VRBOs in MN plus CO, TX, NM, and IA, and while I loved many of them, no other owners have gone to the extent that hosts John and April did to make us feel like welcome and valued guests. They have anticipated the traveler’s every need from coffee, snacks, and treats to toiletries and laundry detergent. Walking distance from the University of Minnesota Morris and downtown, East Side Inn is the perfect solution for parents visiting students, people with business on campus, extended family who would like their own space, travelers passing through, and anyone else who would like to stay in a charming vacation rental.

This was the home I wish I had away from home! John and April were so accommodating and provided us with all the snacks and blankets you could wish for on a winter getaway. We’re hoping to book here again the next time we come to Morris.

Loved this property!

We had so much fun here on our girls weekend. They had great communication before our stay and gave us plenty of ideas for eating and entertaining ourselves around town. Bring your clothes and food and the house is ready for you. They had all we needed for cooking and drinking. There was even breakfast stuff there if we didn't get a chance to hit the grocery store right away. Plenty of towels and blankets. The outdoor space wasn't pictured before our stay but it's amazing. Seating on the patio, grass space for play or laying out. Plus a shed for shaded entertainement if the sun was too much. We might just make this an annual thing! We five Mommas highly recommend! Hopefully I can bring the hubby and 11 year there for a winter get away this year too!
