Cosy cottage with private parking and lovely views

  • En 2 niveles, esta acogedora casa de campo de 1 dormitorio ha sido diseñada con buen gusto y con todas las comodidades del hogar. Al entrar en la propiedad, la planta baja está abierta con una cocina completamente equipada, que incluye una placa de inducción y horno eléctrico, lavadora, secadora, microondas y cafetera. La sala de estar / comedor están cómodamente amuebladas. Hay suelos de parquet y calefacción por suelo radiante. Hay un televisor inteligente y un reproductor de blu ray para su entretenimiento, así como también una radio Dab. Tenemos un montón de libros, dvd y juegos para nuestros huéspedes. Después de un largo día, relájese con un buen libro y una copa de vino.
    Arriba, se accede a un dormitorio encantador y una cómoda cama de matrimonio con ropa de cama de calidad. El lujoso baño con ducha de hidromasaje se encuentra junto al dormitorio. Hay un televisor con canales gratuitos. Hay alfombras en el piso de madera, un riel para colgar ropa y mucho espacio en los cajones. Hay vistas de gran alcance desde el dormitorio.
    En el exterior, los huéspedes tienen acceso exclusivo a un patio con pérgola y muebles de exterior y una barbacoa de gas donde podrá disfrutar del sol en las cálidas tardes. También tenemos un lugar seguro para guardar bicicletas o se pueden alquilar bicicletas a nivel local.
    En una noche clara, las estrellas son increíbles y estamos en el borde del parque de cielos oscuros de Northumberland.
    Estamos en un campo para caminar o andar en bicicleta, cerca de la pequeña ciudad de Rothbury, donde puedes comprar suministros. Hay muchos pubs en Rothbury que sirven buena comida y ciudades más grandes, Morpeth y Alnwick, ambas a 25 minutos en coche.
    Hay muchos lugares de interés histórico y casas de campo a poca distancia en automóvil, y estamos a 30 minutos de la costa. Edimburgo es de aproximadamente 2 horas de distancia.
    Hay 2 estaciones de tren locales que lo traen desde Londres y el Sur, y viajan hacia el norte hasta Escocia. Hay aparcamiento gratuito en ambas estaciones.
    Hay mucho para ver y disfrutar en las zonas rurales de Northumberland y los miembros de National Trust tendrán muchas opciones con una gran cantidad de propiedades y jardines para visitar.

Check in was easy using a lock boxWe were met by the owner who was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. Shw pointed out local places to shop, eat and suggested places of interest to visit

A lovely modern cottage in a peaceful rural setting. We really enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. As city dwellers, the narrow winding country lanes took a little getting used to, but the tranquillity at the end was well worth it. Our host was gracious, welcoming, and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful country cottage

The cottage was stunning with all mod cons a home has , was central for places to visit ( 20-40 mins for travel to them ) , host was very friendly and available for any queries/ advice you may need , Really quiet area -so tranquil and relaxing Will definitely try to come back and would recommend to anyone

Beautiful

This place was immaculate and decorated in a contemporary yet friendly style. The colour scheme was calm and was just right for a relaxing short break. The owners were welcoming and helpful. Would happily return should the opportunity arise.

Quiet retreat

We had a lovely time staying in Lee View. A fabulously furnished property. The host was lovely & very helpful. Our only query was that on your website the property says there is a welcome pack. The owner hasn’t supplied this since before lockdown. This was not a problem for us but could be for others. Perhaps you should ask your owners to check their details on a yearly basis to prevent things like this happening.

Fabulous cottage.

We absolutely loved this cottage, it was immaculate throughout and of a very high standard. The views all around are so beautiful and peaceful. We had a lovely warm welcome from Sue, who presented us with a warm, home made loaf of bread and milk and there were lots of other nice touches too. Sue was the perfect host and can't recommend her highly enough. We are hoping to come back again next year.

Highly recommended

There is great attention to detail in the accommodation and Sue has clearly thought about everything needed to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The accommodation is extremely clean, well kept and comfortable. The location is so peaceful- the only sounds are birdsong and distant sheep.

A quiet location.

A comfortable well appointed and immaculate cottage in a quiet location. It was a good central base to explore the surrounding area. The owner was on hand and very helpful but not intrusive.

Amazing Stay

This is a beautiful property, done out to a high standard and was in such a beautiful location . The communication from our hosts was fantastic and Sue ensured that our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. We definitely would recommend staying here and hopefully we will be back ourselves. Thank you for being such attentive hosts.

Everything we expected and more

We really enjoyed our stay at Lee View, from the warm welcome from Sue and Jamie to the consistently high standard of accommodation. Although relatively small, the cottage is ideal for couples and finished tastefully and to a very high standard inside with all the mod-cons. It was clear to us that the owners genuinely want their guests to enjoy their stay right down to the smallest details. We would have no hesitation in recommending Lee View to others looking for a rural retreat in Northumberland.

Perfect bolt hole with stunning scenery

We had a warm welcome from the owners which included a welcome pack which was a lovely touch. The cottage is warm and homely with everything that you would need. We would definitely come back when we're next on the area.

Luxury rural cottage for two.

The cottage owners Sue and Jamie were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. They respected our privacy but were easy to contact. The cottage was beautifully fitted out with every comfort included. The welcome pack was far more than we have been given in the past. This is a cottage to return to time and time again.
