Beautiful House with Mountain Views

This picturesque home is comfy and cozy. The views from the living and dining room are awesome no matter what season you visit. The home has 3 bedrooms each with a queen size bed, 2 full bathrooms (linens are available). Minutes away from Island Pond and Seymour Lake. Fully equipped kitchen, gas grill, fire pit, satellite TV, WiFi, and 2 adorable ponds. 25 min from Mt. Burke, 45 min from Jay Peak. VAST and VASA accessible. 20 min to NEK bike trails. Snowmobile, hike, ski, bike, fish, or just house makes all of that nice and easy.

Our stay was everything we could have hoped for. I would highly recommend this property this was my first experience with Vrbo and I will never stay in a motel again when traveling. Kristin was very professional and courtesy. The home was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and it felt like home.

Weekend Side-by-side trip

The house was immaculate. Amenities were great, including: washer and dryer, fans, coffee maker, wine glasses, clean towels & linens. Kristen is a great hostess, making the home welcoming and comfortable. We brought side-by-side, which we could leave right from the house. Perfect location!!!

Relaxing mountain stay

The cabin was remote, but very peaceful. House was very comfortable and cozy. Only hiccup was finding a dead mouse in the bathtub that was starting to smell. Once that was gone everything was great.

NE Kingdom stay.

House was fantastic, Kristen was great about responding to my questions etc. The house fit our needs perfectly. 4 adults and 2 small dogs. Fairly remote and quiet. The deck is amazing with a beautiful view, like being in the trees!! Our friends had a house on Lake Seymour but the weather was less than ideal, rainy and cool. Thank goodness we had our own very comfortable house! Well stocked, beds were.comfortable.

Perfect Even in Thunderstorms

We happened to pick a week where Vt was in a State of Emergency due to rain storms causing flooding. High above it all we did a puzzle and walked the trails when the rain let up a bit. The weather was sunny at the end of the week so we read by the pond on the property, hiked and visited the lakes. The house was lovely with plenty of room for us. Very clean with plenty of towels and kitchenware. We highly recommend you stay here.

Very nice property and super responsive host

This house is located in an amazing spot with breathtaking view. The town itself is super nice as well and provides nice restaurants along with outdoor concerts and events. I would totally recommend this place!

Very private and quiet location with beautiful views of the private ponds and mountains

The house was very comfortable with all the amenities needed for a short or extended stay and even nicer than depicted in the pictures. Kristen was always available with prompt responses to our concerns or needs. We would definitely stay again if in this beautiful area.

Great weekend

We had a wonderful weekend at this house. Super clean house. Wonderful host that went above and beyond to make our stay terrific. The deck was a wonderful way to start the mornings and relax after dinner. Would love to come back for snowmobiling.

Island Pond Getaway

My family and I (two older adults, two young adults and their seven-year-old daughter) stayed at this house over the 4th of July weekend. It was great. The house is clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The kitchen and bathrooms have everything you would need, and the kitchen cabinets and fridge even had some useful items left behind by previous guests. The beds, chairs and sofas are comfortable, and all appliances worked well. The house is on a dirt road a few miles from town, making it easy to go into town for groceries, etc. There are many scenic places nearby for hiking and kayaking. Overall, an excellent place for a peaceful family vacation!

Wonderful Labor Day vacation

Kristin was a excellent host. We had a wonderful time beautiful home beautiful location. The only downside was it rained every day but one. So we didn’t get to ride our 4 wheeler as much as we wanted to. We will definitely be back next year

Comfortable property

Adequately equipped home that was clean and well maintained. Everything was as advertised. We enjoyed our short stay here relaxing and extending our vacation. The only small complaint was annoying/loud neighbors at that used constant profanity, but luckily it was only sporadic, short intervals. Overall, it was a peaceful property and we would stay again.

great spot!

this is a beautiful, quiet place to spend a few days...any time of the year. as there are many areas to visit & explore around here, it is a great spot to use as a ‘home base’, a place from which you can explore the beauty of the NE Kingdom. or just relax & enjoy the views...you won’t be disappointed.
