"Great property. Super cozy. Excellent hangout spots for both adults and kids. Daily visits from Swans, Sandhills cranes, geese, heron, kingfishers, pie billed ducks and lots of other birds species. Paddle boat, kayaks, dock and beach were great features we enjoyed a lot. Gas fireplace, Fire pit, grill and a hot tub were also great to have. Big dining table in the middle of everything had gorgeous views of the water and was fgreat for dining, games, drawing and hanging out. "

"We had a wonderful week long stay at the Boathouse on Evans Lake. We had 18 people from ages 12 to 82. The owner, Bill, is great! He was very friendly and helpful. He had called me a couple days before our stay to tell me that we wouldn’t be able to bring our boats because there was an issue with the boat launch. "The bear cabin was very cozy! Has wood burning stove for heat and a super nice outdoor fire pit. Sofa bed was really comfy! Very convenient having a mini fridge in unit! The property is GORGEOUS. Photos don’t do it justice! We loved every minute of our stay at cowboy town. "

" Great location and dock space. went on several boat rides in the evening and the views were fantastic .The fire pit is large enough for several people to have great conversations and laughter.
