The Jubilee Bridge over the Kale Water This footbridge to the north of Morebattle was built in 1887 to commemorate Queen Victoria's jubilee.

Morebattle Primary School Built in the nineteen thirties as a junior secondary school. The classroom 'walls' on this side fold back almost completely, as do the top halves of the opposite wall of each room. A healthy environment!

Lovely location, very friendly staff, great food and a comfortable stay. The property is a gem in the rough - the common areas present beautifully but the room was a bit tired (but still very comfy)

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel, although dated, was lovely and rooms (riverview) were lovely. Couldn’t fault anything and we will definitely be back.
