Best features about this property, very close to Paddington station and has an elevator. Worst things about this property is the carpets in the hallway are very very very dirty, the room was so small, very very hot ( had a small fan thank goodness), tiny bathroom had taps that had a button that would turn water on like a public bathroom, BUGS in bathroom ( so gross), small window that didn’t really open.. no air flow. Pictures of room on internet do not match what we actually stayed in. ( we were on 4th floor) I couldn’t sleep because of the sauna like conditions in the room and the thought of bugs crawling around. Staff at front desk were nice.

My son and I stayed the Templeton Garden for four nights. We received small but adequate room. Unfortunately, there were many, many stains on the carpet, and an unsatisfactory amount of scuffs and dirt on the walls. In the hotel description the room was supposed to have a refrigerator. What the room really had was a box that looked like a refrigerator, but did not have a cold temperature setting. Interestingly, there were multiple items for you to purchase from the non-refrigerator box, including a German sparkling wine that needed to be refrigerated. When I inquired the first time they told me that they would look into why it wasn’t working, and send someone up. That didn’t happen! The next time that I called, they said that it was just a box for storage not a refrigerator. At this point, I was extremely irritated, because after doing tours in London all day and it was 80+ degrees, it would have been nice to come back to a refrigerator with a cold water or Coke zero. The staff gave me the runaround about it on a regular basis. The description from Expedia is inaccurate, and had I known that in advance I would’ve never chosen Templeton Garden. There are dozens of hotels within a 5 to 10 minute walk of this property, go elsewhere, because what is in the description is not what you get.
