"Right across the river from the Musée de la Bande Dessinée! Requires a bit of an uphill hike to get to the center of town but there are also easy nearby bus stops to take you there. Service was fantastic, breakfast was tasty and the hotel is pretty neat. No AC though. "

"The house is as stylish and capacious as the booking information suggests! We made full use of the cool indoor spaces and the pool during our stay at the height of a heatwave. Macqueville and the nearby villages are very quiet and we experienced the slightly unreliable hours of the village shop and restaurant. Booking there is essential. Also a special mention for Dave who was very helpful. "

"This house is exceptional. The outside area is particularly lovely, the pool a dream. We had everything we needed, spending evenings cooking in the kitchen room which overlooks the garden and pool area was relaxing and eating outdoors equally pleasant. "Nous avons passé 1 semaine à 12 dans cette maison. Le séjour a été globalement très bon, même si certains points méritent d'être noté.Beaucoup d'espace à l'intérieur ainsi qu'à l'extérieur. La cour est très agréable, avec le panier de basket, les vélos. La piscine est a bonne température et plutôt grande. La cuisine est très grande avec pas mal d'équipements. La maison est à proximité d'un spot de canoë tres bien, ainsi que d'Angoulême qui est une très belle ville.À noter toutefois qu'il n'y a...

"We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. "Lovely overall 10-day stay with our 2 families in this beautifully decorated and well appointed house; plenty of room, comfy beds, fantastic water pressure, amazing social family kitchen with range cooker, fridge freezer and drinks fridge. (Only teeny thing was the microwave wasnt working during our stay).
